The 2014 season kicks off soon on Feb 15 with the Auckland Nines competition, I'm not sure how I feel about this tournament. I'll make judgment after its over.

This thread is for every one that wants to discuss anything NRL related (even the English brahs that follow the Super League or NRL of course) and to rep your teams!!






In for the Chookies to have a crack at going back to back!

And keen to see them playing the world club challenge that for the first time in 20 years is going to be played here in Australia @ Allianz Stadium!!

Was gonna go to that as well brah, was my b'day that day as well. Was sick as a dog all day though, had a bbq at a mates place and watched the game there, close to puking and passing out all game lol. Had to go home after it and sleep it off.

Sevens especially in Wellington isn't about the game anymore. More towards dressing up, getting chitfaced and just a overall atmosphere of course people still go to watch the game. But it's pretty obvious that its Aucklands way to try and cash in on what they hope to be something like the Seven's in Wellington. They originally wanted the seven's from 2014 onwards I think.
