I can't believe how many people are rustled over Sherman. That interview was ridiculous. Hell, it makes me look forward to the Super Bowl even more. It's football, supposed to be a form of entertainment. Stop being whiners and taking it so personal. Would you rather there be no personality in the game at all?

You wouldn't be cockslapping anyone in fear of getting your **** pushed in.
Regarding the play, it was a good one, don't get me wrong, but the guy is a farce.
He doesn't need to be doing that **** anymore. That's the kind of stuff you see from a rookie. And furthermore, that fake handshake chit? Man, either show sportsmanship or talk trash. Don't try to be going back and forth like a chump.
Call me bitter, call me whatever, neg me, I don't care. Calling it like I see it.*Stand Up and Prosper crew*

People do that, all the time, in anything remotely competitive. From beer pong to basketball to football to ultimate frisbee. Most competitive dudes I know will talk trash before and during a game, and will shake your hand after it's all done, win or lose. Not sure why it's so shocking. Trash talk is part of the game, especially between DBs and WRs. Doesn't mean you can't shake the hand of your opponent after...

Sherman is the biggest jimmy rustler in sports atm. Dude is hilarious. He can back chit up too that's why I like him.

I'm a Patriots fan. Always will be and I have an almost homosexual love for Tom Brady.
But I'm tired of people calling Sherman a "thug". If you don't have a and criminal activity to link to Sherman and you call him a thug, it's racist. End of story.
And I want Wilson to win. I wanted him to win last year, I want him to win this year. If there is an NFC team I want to win, it's been the Seahawks since Wilson came to them. I think he's a good QB and a good person.
Talking about this season brah and you're saying why does he get worked up? Some people play better when worked up. That's clearly how he is. He likes to be worked up and have something to prove to someone. I'd say Smith also is the same way. The way he ragged on Talib non stop after the game, and with the ice sculpture chit? Some people LIKE talking shiit and it keeps them motivated/boosts their game play.

i didn't even see the handshake or attempted handshake or whatever. went to piss after the int and came back just in time for the interview. but your post led me to believe that he was attempting to make a sportsmanlike handshake. otherwise, he was just still in troll mode, which would completely contradict everything you suggested about him "either showing sportsmanship or talking trash"
edit: i realize you said "fake handshake" but then you suggested be sportsmanlike or talk trash. if it was a fake handshake, then it was a continuation of the trash talk, and i still don't see the issue

And the Falcons season has been over for a long time. Not a single fuk was given since midway through the season. Has nothing to do with Sherman anyways.
I said he got worked up in that interview. Strong reading comprehension. If he was a "troll" then he would be the one calm and collected while Skip was getting all pissy. He got butthurt and told skip he was a nobody or he hasn't accomplished anything close to what he has. Something along the lines of that. Which is completely retarded considering Skip is one of the most well known journalist in the business today. Like I said, the interview was a disaster. Period.
Has nothing to do with his smack talk on the field. Yeah i have no problem jawing after plays. Steve Smith does it every game and i think its perfectly fine, but when the game is over you don't get up in peoples faces like a brat.I REP HELPFUL POSTS

All boils down to the NFL is an entertainment business, if he isn't getting in trouble off the field or creating problems for his team, then I want PERSONALITIES in the NFL that are going to do more than give me a robotic, "Well, you know this was a team effort, we went out there and played great, but the 49ers were great too so lets celebrate them as well!" That gets old - Sherman has never gotten in trouble off the field and you don't hear him teammates have a bad thing to say about him, so do I care if he doesn't respect his opponent? No, no I don't, because I know when I get in competitions with people who rub me the wrong way I don't like them either, and I don't want to pretend I do for the sake of being a good sport.
