This took over 90 mins somehow. Squats were really challenging. I'm starting to grunt now and I'll belt up for the jump to 95kg. I've started to get a pain in my arm like when I started so I'll widen my grip a bit. Should fix it as long as I remember to keep my chest up. Been down this road before and I sure don't want this to become an issue again.
Bench was a tough starter, but very comfortable for the last two sets probably because I moved my narrow grip out a finger. Shoulder feels good.
Cleans were easy enough.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

Squats were awful. I belted up for the first time and they felt just as hard as Friday's squats.
Even press was slow. And deadlift.
I went out and got severely hammered on Friday, worked all weekend, barely slept, and ate like crap. Plus I was unusually stressed about some life stuff. I have not been doing anything positive for recovery since Friday to put it mildly. I need to get my sh!t together and eat/sleep well between now and Wednesday.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

I hear ya on that. I'm cutting and my recovery these days haven't been too great. I was doing much better with my diet on my bulk compared to the cut, where it's actually more important. But don't worry it's still better than not doing any lifting or work at all. Keep trying hard!
And the sessions look good. Glad to see the numbers climbing quick, but you might need to start slowing down now.TM Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=145984543&highlight=pyaarawala

I hate doing anything with a weight vest ... sprints will be deadly
Good work on the squats and deads, even if they didn't feel great you are now getting back into serious numbers and if you're not feeling challenged occasionally then you're not trying hard enough"Better to wear out than rust out!"

The Weigh In
19 Mar - 85.5kg (188lbs)
12 Mar - 84.8kg (187lbs)
4 Mar - 83.5kg (184lbs)
24 Feb - 83.9kg (185lbs)
10 Feb - 80.9kg (178lbs)
10lbs gained on Starting Strength so far. I look as lean as when I started and I received a few compliments from people I hadn't seen for a while last Friday. Apparently I'm looking "thick and solid"
Progress pic taken last week...
Also, I took some measurements just now (after a 2 Pinter of milk )...
Waist: 34"
Neck: 15 1/4"
Bf %: 16
No rise in bf and negligible rise in waist. (1/4"). So much win. I'm upping the portions now anyway. Training is getting hard and I think more fuel is needed. Not sure what the calories will be but it's pretty much just an increase in protein by 50g for lunch and dinner. So about 400 kcal more to take me to about 3600, as I snack also.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

Holy hell. What a drag an extra 10kg is. Even the jog there was hard work. That's about 7 mins. I must've looked ridiculous though. The vest is like body armour. Despite the difficulty, this actually felt good.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

Much better than the last A session as I've been eating a ton, but I was surprised about getting all this as the sprints murdered my legs yesterday. I walked into town for food and a gig last night and I had to get a taxi home as my legs just gave up on me lol.
We keep going late and rushing things which I'm getting quite fed up with. I had to superset press and deads to get done before closing time. I had a mini tantrum and said I refuse to go down there this late again
I need to correct butt tuck on squats but the weight is manageable. Press feels fine. Deads were tough. I'm definitely gonna slow it down a bit now on those.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

Thanks! 2 pps down! I was just thinking that I'm at a lower bodyweight than before at this weight and I'm gaining weight much leaner now so I could feasibly bulk from here until the end of the summer if I play it right. That's a lot of gainzzzzz
Mirin' because it's high? It's fairly comfortable for me to hit these days which makes the diet easy. I do drink a 2 Pinter of whole milk a day though. 5 large scrambled eggs with kale and 3 crumpets (lots of butter) for brekkie. Lunch and dinner is 250g of meat in sauce with some veg and 100g brown rice or 300g sweet potato. Diet of champions!Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

Arm pain came back today on squats but faded after bench. I'm continuing to make adjustments. Wider grip works a bit. Introducing a light squat day would help so I may do that soon.
I'm going for a meal tomorrow so we trained today instead. Back on Wednesday for the next one. Morning sessions are always more difficult for me but I just about squeezed out all the squat reps. Tough work fo sho.
Bench is getting heavy so I'll slow the jumps down to 2.5kg a session.
Power cleans were strong. Definitely room to grow on these. We made plenty of time to train (90 mins) so technique was tighter all round today.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55
