Hey ya'll, just started up a new strength/powerlifting channel with my buddy.
We'll be logging our progress from the day we made a first video to- who knows when.
Our goals are around 300+ bench, 500+ squat, 600+ deadlift.
Here's our video!
Hope you can support and subscribe.
Our lifts/physiques aren't that spectacular but, it's a start!
---- My mistake with saying "ATG" on the squat, I guess the squat was more of a slightly below parallel/parallel squat.

Weird voices. High squats being called "ATG". That was quite the unusual video I just watched....

Weird voices since I felt like I was being too serious throughout the whole video. Lol. Sorry if that doesn't agree not your sense of humor.
I was thinking below parallel was already an "ass-to-grass" squat as it is already accepted as a competition squat.
So I guess it's my mistake- I was supposed to say a "competition" squat on the video? hahah
Btw, here's a picture of the squat.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Stop worrying about calling squats atg or powerlifting. just worry about hitting the depth you need to for whatever fed you're competing in. In the picture you just posted you'd be fine.

Squats in the video are real high, first picture is high, second picture is good. If the squats in the video or the 1st photo are getting passed at Meets either there are different rules in your country or, more likely, the rules are not being enforced. If your friend wants a legit squat he needs to squat lower, if he's getting whites and is okay with it then he should keep squatting high. Good luck with it either way, keep working hard.
