Too many people are on Shea Weber's nuts. I don't get why people love him so much. It's pretty funny when people say he's been better than Chara over the past few seasons, when theres nothing to show that.

He wasn't even the best defenseman in Nashville for the past five years.

I didn't get to watch the Canada and Switzerland game today, but a 6-0 win doesn't sound too impressive, especially when Finland put up an eight spot against Switzerland the other day.

The U.S. needs to stomp out Russia tomorrow. Just don't give those ****ers PP's because you might as well just give them a goal when they are awarded a PP. The Russians need to pass a little less and shoot a little more on their PP and it will wreak havoc.

edit: how are red wing fans feeling about this Olympics? I'd be upset if my best players were going to this tournament banged up and in Zetterburg's case probably going to miss significant time during an intense east playoff race.

He's on par with chara, he's been playing amazing this year. Chara is unreal, but his height has a lot to do with it.

I'm not talking about just this year, and you just went full retard with the height comment. I guess Megatron is good because he's tall and can jump high? I guess Usain Bolt is fast because he's tall and can run well?

If Chara was shorter, maybe he'd have better balance, have more speed, and be an even better player. The entire argument people use in sports about height is just off-base. And, I know Weber is a damn great defenseman, and I don't get to watch him enough. However, people seem to have this weird infatuation with him.
