MRM Metabolic Whey Protein Review

I was offered a free sample of MRM's Metabolic Whey Protein and once it arrived and I tried it, I felt a need to post my personal thoughts on the product...even though I am under no obligation to do this. Keep in mind this is working solely off a sample 1 serving package of Rich Chocolate flavored whey protein.

My personal quick review of MRM Rich Chocolate flavored Metabolic Whey Protein..

TASTE: 8.5/10
I think this is perhaps one of the best tasting chocolate whey protein powders I have tasted. No bad after taste or chemically taste I experienced with a couple of other powders in the past.

MIXABILITY: 9/10
The package says mix with 2oz of water or milk but I used about 4 ounces milk and I had no clumping or residue left in the bottom of my shaker bottle after a good 15-20 second shake.

VALUE: 9/10
Right now MRM Metabolic Whey will cost you about $50 for a 5lb tub. This isn't a bad deal, really, with some whey proteins running in the neighborhood of $15 per lb, some at $39.95 for a 4lb tub and some others running as high as $99 for 5 lbs depending on where you buy your whey protein.

OVERALL: 9/10
This is a great tasting product that provides a good dosage of BCAAs and Glutamine, and free of Aspartame and Acesulfame Potassium. Plus it has a nice creamy texture and a pretty fine taste. I would recommend this to others to at least try for themselves.

I would have to agree, I was about to post a review myself but why make two. I got a sample in the mail yesterday and I would have to give it the same rating. It is some good protein.

I was actually surprised in a way, not thinking the taste would be as good as it sounded and finding it was better than hoped for. I wonder how it would taste if shaken in cold water instead of milk...to run lean instead of any gain off the milk.
