I have a lot of friends in the military who say the same thing I do. I've discussed this with them and they actually back up what I say. You obviously don't know anything about the military. A lot of people join the military for the benefits, not to kill people. Most of the time in the army or even the marines, you don't even go into combat, at least in these days. But every country needs a military, or else you are weak and you will be attacked. What do you think would happen if we just got rid of our military? everything would be peaceful?

And btw, I don't agree with our military getting involved in random chit or other countries problems. When you're in the military though, you are under the command of the government and you can't refuse to do what they tell you, or you will face prison time.

So, what you're saying is that they join the military for selfish reasons - to get benefits - and they don't stand up for what is right because they are actually cowards who fear going to prison if they don't partake in unjustified wars.
