    Could my preworkout supplement be causing my trouble sleeping?

    I have a preworkout supplement that I started taking a few months ago (my first preworkout supplement so far). It has 360 mgs of caffeine and I take it everyday at 3 before I head out to the gym. Ever since I started taking this preworkout, I stay up all night pretty much everyday and it sucks to be me right now. Could my preworkout supplement be causing this trouble? I mainly take this preworkout b/c of the creatine content in it.

    Try not having it for a week and see how well you sleep? C'mon man...

    360 mgs of caffeine is like 4 cups of coffee or 7 diet cokes at once. half life of caffeine is 5-6 hours. therefore at 9pm you still have half of that in your system. so...what do you think?

    Eh looks like I will stop taking the preworkout and preworkout supps for that matter. At least back when the only supplements I took were whey protein and creatine, I could sleep. Workouts weren't as intense but sleep > intensity all day any day.

    Perhaps - and also purchasing just creatine is MUCH cheaper if that's what you mainly take it for.
    Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.
