Do weighted dips really cause shoulder injuries?

Personally, I don't think so. If you stop at 90 degrees when you do the weighted dips and use good form, you shouldn't have any shoulder problems.

I can perform weighted dips without any pain. Bench press on the other hand seems to aggravate my shoulders. Ymmv.

EveryBODY is different, I would recommend only using the more narrow grip (definitely not wide), and of course keep good form. Always warm up as well!
