    DTP Death to Legs

DTP...? I laugh in the face of thee...
I completed the DTP workout last night. However when I was finishing up the second cardio session, I looked at the routine again and I did 2 sets of 50 reps on the leg press rather than 3, so I finished cardio, noticed the leg press was actually being used and did 5 sets of 10 squats with 135# to punish myself. Below parallel squats 50 reps...brutal at the end of this DTP workout.

    CHOW TODAY!:
    2 pieces whole wheat toast
    2 tbsp peanut butter
    Coffee

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1 egg white
    4 oz whole milk
    4 oz water
    5g glutamine
    1 squirt strawberry crush

    Leftover Chicken Stir Fry
(2 oz chicken, 1 cup veggies, sesame ginger marinade)

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1 egg white
    4 oz whole milk
    4 oz water
    5g glutamine
    1 squirt strawberry crush

    4 oz pork chop
    1 cup asparagus

Taste 9.5/10 - 2 scoops in 6 oz cold water is perfect for pre-leg day
Focus 9/10 - 2 sick kids and a sick wife, I was very lucky to have gotten to the gym, so I had to get to business and get out. Done.
Pump 9/10 - My quads, calves and ham all pumped up good. I even felt that I had a nice full rump!
Energy 9/10 - JHP took me from about a 3 honestly. Taking JHP while warming up, or doing cardio seems to work best for me.
Strength 9/10 - Nothing too crazy as far as weight goes, just a lot of reps which became very taxing in a good way

Ashley thought I had stopped working legs and began concentrating on arms.....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! NEVER!

You know what I liked best? Is that it took me about 45 minutes to do it (not counting the cardio, of course...). Get in, do work, go home. I'll be using more of these DTP's probably once a week, loved it!

Found some info that it has more protein, less fat than steak. Lean protein is always good, however I don't think this particular snake would have ended up being much of a bodybuilding meal!

Your legs look awesome man, especially the calves!

    CHOW TODAY!:
    2 pieces whole wheat toast
    2 tbsp peanut butter
    Coffee

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1 egg white
    4 oz whole milk
    4 oz water
    5g glutamine
    1 squirt strawberry crush

    Leftover Chicken Stir Fry
(2 oz chicken, 1 cup veggies, sesame ginger marinade)

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1 egg white
    4 oz whole milk
    4 oz water
    5g glutamine
    1 squirt strawberry crush

    4 oz pork chop
    1 cup asparagus

    JuggHP Review: Red Raspberry

NEVER!

    Cool Goin' home!

About to board this plane to head home!
Breakfast at the conference was perfect! Bacon, eggs, seasoned taters and coffee! For lunch, I was able to get my hands on a turkey panini. I wish I wasnt traveling during these final IAJ Challenge days, but thats what its about right? Things wont always be 100% in your favor, so we just gotta make do and keep workin'.
Im looking forward to seeing my wife and kids tonight and getting some gym time in tomorrow morning. No rest for weary Juggernaut wannabes!
Today, after the conference ended, I had time before the shuttle to the airport, so I hoofed it to University of Nevada-Reno bookstore to pick up a new cap, which totaled 71 minutes of walking. So, I got my free cardio time in!
Ill be checking up on ya'll tomorrow on the forum postings!

I'm Back! Back to routine, back home, back on track!
I'll be taking and submitting my final pix tonight for the IAJ Challenge 2014! Its been a very long road, but a successful and knowledge-gaining one. I enjoyed every step of the way, but more on that tomorrow as well as the supplement reviews for JHP Crimson Punch, Red Raspberry and Pink Lemonade, as well as: Oxidane X, Final Cuts, Final Form, Carnitine MTX and Peanut Butter Cookie Whey Delight, shaker cup and t-shirt.

Again, just another quick update for the forum. I've learned that I need to learn more from traveling and trying to be a bodybuilder/physique competitor. It becomes extremely difficult to manage when poorly planned, which is what I did for this latest trip. However, I did learn from that experience and the importance of planning for dietary needs. When I traveled to Anaheim, I planned ahead and prepped some food that I could keep cold and carry with me. Since I flew to Reno, I was limited on space and I figured, "Meh...it'll be easy to find stuff that I can fit into my macro counts and calorie numbers."WRONG! It was very hard find stuff that I was willing to eat, but had to make to the best I could. Lesson learned 100%.

JuggHP Review x 2 (Chest and Tri / Back & Bi)
Taste 9/10 - Crimson Punch with 1 scoop in 4 oz water
Focus 9/10 - Got in. Did work. Got out.
Pump 10/10 - I think I actually scared some of the people in the fitness center in the hotel. Proto point!
Strength 10/10 - With limited poundages in the fitness center, I felt like a beast throwing weights around for moderate weight/hi rep work!
Energy 10/10 - Nothing is more appealing than going to lift after a long day sitting in sessions about financial aid for college students! Attitude + JHP + Energy = Results!
*******I started feeling a cold coming on, so I chugged some JHP before heading over to the conference venue. About 25 minutes later, I started feeling MUCH better and that got me through the day, which is appreciated since my boss was also at this conference!

I can tell you from experience that it is difficult to travel and stay eating right. Typically when I travel it is for at least a week which does make it easier. Once I check into my hotel I find the nearest walmart or grocery store and pick up the food that I will need for the time I am there. This way I am not dependent on local restaurante and cuisine. I also make sure to pick hotels that have a kitchenette in the rooms as well!
"Strength and Honor" words to live by!

Well, things didn't turn out quite like I had hoped, but I imagine that's the case in alot of our minds when we see our "after" photos. I'm proud of what I've done and what I've learned!

The IAJ Challenge 2014 for me was an amazing experience and a great learning tool, in which I was able to gain friends, Jugger Brothers and Sisters who have taught me many lessons, pros who have offered guidance and advice, and TL Reps who demonstrate commitment and perseverance and carry that on into the contestants within the challenge.

The Top 10 Things I've Learned during the IAJ 2014 Challenge:
    1) Eat. Pay attention to what I eat and how if affects my physique and appearance. Eat to perform. Take in quality over quantity and log the results.
    2) Rest. I was going to the gym TOO much and eating TOO little. I cut back on gym time, changed workouts up and am resting more at night!
    3) Gym Partners. A blessing and a curse. I cannot rely on anyone but myself and hoping that someday I will find a gym partner as committed as I am!
    4) Boobies Out! Working on my 3-D chest and fixing my posture are 2 of the hardest things I've done. I thought it would be simple, but it is not!
    5) Leg Day. I decided to make Leg Day my favorite training day. The machines and equipment are always free for use and I love the growth I'm seeing.
    6) JuggernautHP is a great pre-workout. In all honesty and sincerity, it is. I have tried PWO that I've bought, gotten really cheap, and even for free. Some have given me the jitters and some I haven't felt at all.
    7) Post-Workout Shakes. I started making sure I took them post workout during this challenge and what a difference! In my rest at night and in my recovery, that shake has done some great things for me.
    8) 100 rep sets. Legs can take a lot of abuse since we use them all the time. They need extra "attention" for hypertrophy. Thanks to Dennis for pushing me on legs and showing me that it can be done!
    9) Planning for travel. Be it packing prepped food for yourself or scoping out local places to get your food is essential for success.
    10) Enjoy the Process. This is something I'm serious about doing. However, I need to remember that its fun. I love going in to the gym and knowing that for a period of time, I will be n my element. Music on, zoned in, iron getting abused! Through all the pain and drama that can come about, I must remember that I'm doing this for myself and that I'm choosing to be there.

Why I can be Your Juggernaut:
I'm a very dedicated individual. When I set my mind to something, it might take a couple paths to get there, but I'll always arrive at the destination ahead. I'm loyal and honest. I enjoy what I'm doing. I can prove that being a father of 3, a husband, a full-time employee, former eating disorder, and anxiety doesn't have to take over your life. How interesting that something simple like going to the gym can be relief from all of that!
I'm learned so much during this challenge about myself, about the human body and its limitations and how diet and nutrition strictly affect the gains and losses for which we strive. I'm educated and a great public speaker, I have a degree in Human Development so I can connect with people, and don't shy away from interaction.
None of the before-mentioned points are for bragging, etc. merely to demonstrate that I'm a people person, that I enjoy what I do, and will help others as best I can.

    Juggernaut HP Review OVERALL:
Taste 9/10 - Ive tried different combos of scoops vs water and the best for me is 1 scoop with 4 oz cold water.
Focus 9/10 - Many times I've been worn out from the gym and lucky to have JHP in my corner. Gets the blood pumpin' and in the Juggernaut Zone!
Strength 9.5/10 - JHP is a "sleeper" as I've called it before. It comes up when you need strength in the gym.
Energy 9/10 - I've done longer workouts with this and shorter workouts and the energy from JHP is great!
Pump 10/10 - I LOVE the pumps from JHP! I began to see veins that I never thought were there! I've even felt a pump in my hamstrings which was very new to me!
    [i]"Crimson Punch" Taste 8/10
    "Red Raspberry" Taste 9/10
    "Pink Lemonade" Taste 10/10

Final Form, Final Cutz, Carnitine MTX Stack Review:
This stack helped me prep for the show in San Diego on March 15th. Used according to the directions and following my prep diet, I got pretty lean for the show. The products worked well for me as a stack, and I will use this stack again in the future. I'd recommend this stack to anyone looking to lean up for a beach trip, wedding, contest, etc. while following a good meal plan and exercise regime. Its the icing on the cake.

Peanut Butter Cookie Why Delight Review:
This is the best tasting protein powder I've had. It does taste better with milk than water, but water will get the job done, no prob. The kicker is that there are little pb chips in the mix, so you get little treats in your shake!
    Try this shake:
    2 scoops PB Cookie
    1 banana
    2 tbsp natural peanut butter
    2 egg whites
    10 oz 1% milk

    Oxidane X Review:
This is my favorite product ever. During "peak week" I began my Oxidane X cycle and it dried me out good. I felt prepped with my best package for the time being and came in pretty dry, but still full. With this, there is no reason to starve yourself to lean out, you can take the stack, follow your meals and take Oxidane X before your show to present yourself to your full potential.

I also make sure to pick hotels that have a kitchenette in the rooms as well!
I thought for sure I'd be able to find stuff around and it was my fault. I plan to make my own beef jerky and will pack nuts and dried fruits too so I can at least count on that stuff and not have to rely on every meal next time around. When my work in paying for the hotels, I have to go with what they provide, but I will make the effort for a microwave at least! DDud leg workout tonight buddy!

Excellent final essay and review! You did a great job, and you had great results, a lot to be proud of! And most importantly, look at all that you have learned and all that you are taking away from this to continue your journey! That's what it's all about...this is your lifestyle, it's a constant learning experience, continuing to make improvements, setting and reaching new goals! Keep on training strong, and keep that awesome positive attitude. And on another note...regarding travel and nutrition...that's another learning experience and you will definitely get it in no time! There are lots of ways to pack your nutritional needs to take with you, it's trial and error on what works best for you. If you ever want some specific tips just let me know and I am happy to help. Also, when I travel I tend to eat more from grocery stores than restaurants (love when there is a Whole Foods!!!). Not only does this allow me to eat the foods that I need, but it's more cost effective too! Again, you did a really great job in the IAJ Challenge and excellent essay!
