I recently upgraded my Powertec bench for a full commercial Precor one.
The Powertec one had one of those slip in leg ext/curl attachments which I used to use for curls. Since I sold the Powertec I no longer have leg curls as an option.
I was considering my options?
1. Purchase a kneeling leg curl machine...small footprint but costs around 2K new.
2. Purchase a prone leg curl...large footprint and still costs around 1-1.5k
then I saw this option....
http://samsfitness.com.au/accessorie...stinger-Deluxe for 50 bucks.
I can attach this to my functional trainer and possibly still get a decent hammie workout. Has anyone used them ever?
I already do RDLS for hammies and wanted a second exercise to complement them.
Thoughts? Many thanks.

I have done and IronEdge do a really nice solid one but it`s around 1k with postage. I`m just not sure how the move corresponds with growth-stimulus compared to a prone leg curl etc?
I do have several bands and have used them before with a decent pump. The item I linked to takes the band idea that next bit further I guess.

I'm training for strength more than hypertrophy, but I can tell you that since I started doing Glute Ham Raises (past 6 months or so) I have added 25-30 lbs to my deadlift.

I use two TKO padded straps attached to the low pulley on my lat machine. I do prone bilateral ham curls using my Legend bench in decline position. I like it far better than most other machines I've used. I have the spud strap but don't get anywhere near the same feel with the movement. I also have a OBB floor GHD that is awesome, inexpensive, and compact. The combo of prone leg curls and GHDs seems to bee hitting the hams well. I can't do SLDLs anymore or my L5-S1 gives me problems for weeks following the session.
