I'm really laid back and humorous most of the time.

Most comments I get are positive.

Then again, with a shirt on, people might think I'm dying of malnutrition.

I'm not the hugest guy in the world but most people can tell I lift. I also have good posture so people have told me that I seem intimidating at first but once they get to know me I end up being a really nice dude.

The people closest to me support my fitness. My family thinks it's awesome. Randoms on the street in Tapout t-shirts and dark, bootcut jeans try to stick their chest out to compete. Girls find ways to make seemingly innocuous yet unnecessary physical contact (getting past me at a crowded dinner event doesn't require you keeping your hand on my tricep for 8 seconds and sliding it down my forearm). Girls you don't know automatically assume you're an egotistical, self-absorbed narcissist who has no space for anyone else in his life besides himself. Sarcastic comments come off as condescending, cocky, or pretentious. People think you have a holier-than-thou attitude.

The worst of it is at work. I'm a naturally confident person, so that plus the visible muscularity (plus the made-to-measure suits) really rubs some people the wrong way. I have to be scrupulous and dial everything down dramatically, which sucks, because I feel like I got hired both on my merits and for the personality I can bring. Being penalized because your commitment to health makes people interpret things poorly sucks.

but i used to be auschwitz skinny, 130lbs, 11" arms

so, from time to time, i notice a difference btw the way ppl treat me now as opposed to when i was superskinny

for instance, at a bar. some really drunk avg skinny dude (12" arms) slightly bumps into my shoulder. not a big deal, i barely moved.

but his gf was walking right behind him, and she noticed, and she had the "oh fuk, i hope this guy doesnt destroy my bf" look on her face, so she comes up to me and says "sorry, he's really drunk, so srry"

i imagine you jacked kunts on this site get that reaction, except from dudes.

Lost a bit of weight the last couple of years and the amount of attention I get from girls now is like 500-600% more than I got in my fat days. I was invisible in my fat days, now girls give me the eye constantly. Guys also treat me with reverence. It's nice.
