ZeroWater shelf filter + Nalgene/HydroFlask.
Not perfect, but better than nothin'. The thing with HydroFlasks, is that they are NOT lined with petroleum based products, like other metal bottles are.
I have no idea about the effects of different chemicals in the water, and I'm sure that Tap Water is fine (no fearmonger). But, filtered water has a better taste imo, and replacing a $10 filter every 4-5 months is an insignificant cost.
