JIA; Good to hear from you guys, just got your messages. Great post, i forgot all about the earplugs and glass stuff; we had to throw out our unopened nutella and peanut butter because they were glass jars. The horror.
Earplugs - definitely a necessity. We came in late so ended up close to the entrance of the dreamville, which was nice. The only downside was the speakers which were blasting Dreamville radio all day and all night on Thursday till 6 am. The earplugs definitely help with getting sleep though the first night we didn't manage to get more than 2 hours lol. The radio stopped at 2am ish every night after Thursday thankfully.
If anyone is coming to the dreamville by car pay attention; there are 2 parkings. 1 is a 30 minute walk from the campsite, the other one 10 at max. The one closest is in the Nachtegaalstraat, so thats where you'll be wanting to go.
Lol @ the piss valley, too true. On sunday everybody just kept peeing against the 'balcony' stands on the left side, security didnt give a single fuk. Not suprised it smelled like death over there (there, and near the toilets. water under the plastic 'mats' seems to cause this horrendous smell after being in the blazing sun for a while)
A camel bag is nice to bring along to fill with drinks, that way you wont have to bring a bottle cap or risk wasting your water when losing it to the music. Didnt think of it but saw you guys bring it. Definitely a nice idea.
You cant bring any food or drinks into the actual festival coming from the dreamville, so dont fill it up before entering the festival grounds unless you dont mind throwing it all out.
JIA & AppleCat; you mind me posting our pic together from Sunday? Or pm me, we can exchange pics along with the ones from meeting at the lockers, hehe. Ty men
Heres another vid from Alesso at the mainstage; all out fireworks between 10-11pm every day. I've been told this is because of the noisecomplaints from people living nearby, so the finishing acts dont have as much fireworks as you'd expect.
@ woodsmash; i spent 150 euros on tokens for the 3-4 days in total. Water and food was the main token killer, though i didnt find out about the cheaper water in the store until the last morning. Use that for sure and u should end up with less expenses.
Bought food at my local supermarket before heading to the festival for about 20bucks each (we were with 4 guys) which meant a few cans of hotdogs, some bread, water, chips, cola, plastic throwaway plates knifes and forks, the gasthingy and frying pan etc. also brought our own toilet paper, which is not a bad idea. The toilet paper there is too thin 4 comfort, lol.
Amazing photos btw!Last edited by hertog; 07-21-2014 at 01:04 PM.
I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

The vibe is perfect, peaceful, fun, everybody is in a good mood so nobody will be pushing or shoving. They control the traffic of people somehow to make it all go much smoother when moving from one area to another. The experience is...well, if you like festivals this is the holy grail of EDM festivals. Everything is there for your entertainment, convenience, ... Of course if you're at mainstage with 40000 other brahs, you wont have room to dish out your john travolta moves. Anyways, i'd recommend it to anyone who doesnt have a social anxiety disorder. You'll meet tons of people, from all the around the world and maybe even get lasting friendships.
Going for the last weekend! OOOOoooowww yeah!++ Positive Crew ++

I can confirm, the smaller stages were the best. Mainstage is cool and all, but its mostly mainstream music with pre recorded sets which gets pretty boring imo. If you're only staying at mainstage you're missing out
Bought two boozebags for the whole weekend, pre gamed at the hotel and spent most of the tokens on water. Also had left over tokens from 2012 I got to use which was nice lol.Last edited by DSTEE; 07-21-2014 at 04:08 PM.

You brahs got pics or any other of the other stages? ( wood like to see the Q dance stage).
I streamed a good portion of both weekends. I noticed that some artists that had okish sets really killed it at TL. This makes me want to go to see people put on their A game and not play trap like hardwell did at EDC Las vegas.

Sick album by the way, very nice pics

The stage changed per day, on one day it was Dim Mak, the next day it was Q-Dance and afterwards it was Pussylounge.
