How long should a set take?

I timed myself odin some sets of just 8-10 reps and they all took me roughly 1:30, i focus obviously on form but also negatives, pause reps etc but I'm just wondering if this is too much time under tension and if I should cut it back.

    Cheers in advance.

A set takes as long as it needs to take, and rest

Sounds like a long ass time, a rep only takes like 3-4 seconds if youre only doing 8-10, that should only be 32-40 seconds I'd think. But whatever works I guess

This. Unless you included rest time.
