I'm looking to bring my all in one gym from my garage into a spare bedroom with hardwood flooring. Obviously, I'd like to protect the wood floor and was looking at purchasing a single 4x6 horse stall mat to place under my bench.
Do you think the mat will move at all?

Despite weighing around 100lbs, my experience has been that they will shift a bit. Obviously, it'll depend upon what you have on top of it and the frictional coefficient of the floor beneath as well.
I doubt that your mat will move much if you keep your bench on top of it. I also think it's unlikely that a relatively stationary rubber mat will scratch your wood floor.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

What's your all in one setup weigh? If it's heavy, I'm guessing it won't move. Give it a thorough washing, it will have a noticeable rubber smell. I left 2 outside for a couple weeks in the rain and sun. Washed it off brought it in and didn't notice any smell in my basement. I bought a bunch more a few weeks ago, washed them with soap - both sides and brought them inside. These have a much stronger smell.

There may be some shifting depending on the exercises, but not much and nothing you can't move back. The rubber won't scratch your flooring, but you have to make sure it is COMPLETELY clean and free of debris before placing on floor.

I have several of those and they move but very slowly, not enough to worry about it. I'd be more worried about the floors with that pooch in your picture, looks like a Fifi or a Maximus? How's my aim?

I started building my gym in mid-June of last year. In that time I've worked out religiously 3 days a week, squatting every workout, deadlifts every other workout. (Ok, I might have missed 2-3 workouts.) Sometimes buddies come over to lift, so the equipment gets double the usage on those days.
So in approximately 80 lifting sessions, this is how much my mats have moved. Not a big deal guys, seriously.. I do plan on getting more mats at some point and reconfigure the layout. (Will be nice to have double the mat space.)
I forgot to mention that a car pulls into the garage after sessions. To be honest, I think the mats have spread apart from the slight turning of the car wheels when pulling in, not from lifting. (The right wheels roll over the mats.)RARE. VTG. HTF.

The point is not slight movement, although than can be bad. The point is imagine 500-600-700lbs squat or DL, wide stance, max attempt, the guy really spreading his feet hard, and one of the mats "buckles" (as in waves upwards). Only a few inches would be enough to wreak havoc on ankle, knee, groin, adductor... You name it.
