Same here.
I have had used high end equipment (everything but what I need) running all over me lately.
One of the things that are not coming up are quality db spotters so I am thinking of buying new ones to go with my cemco db set I have on the way.
OP:
Put up a review when you get a chance.
Thanks in advance.

OP:
I'm looking at a set of used 12 sided metal Troy VTX db's like you have in the pic to flip to help pay for the new set of cemco's I ordered last week.....ouch!
The db set is 5 - 80 (with the 3, 8, 12's to boot) but no rack.
I was told the db's are 4 years old. He said he bought them from dumbbellbuddy. No rack comes with it cause he is keeping it to house the new db's he just bought. Most all of the db's look good other than one of the 75 lbers is broke (one end is very, very lose). The guy said all he did was drop it from around waist high onto a rubber mat while doing lunges.......
I always thought Troy was a good brand db. Have you had yours long? If so, any problems?
Anyways, I can get em for $300. The one 75lber is more or less useless unless there is a way to repair it.
Thanks for any info you can give on the db's.

StephanBB covered the rack specs.
If you even remotely think you need some DB spotters, then these from B.W.T.G will fit the bill. I am not sure how much they would handle, but definitely more than I will ever need. I stood on them while they were attached to the rack and they did not budge (I weigh 185). They could have held more. It is easy to lift the DBs off the spotters and easy to re-rack them.
The DBs are fine, I have not had any problems from them. I have dropped them from the height of incline DB pressing (at the low height). So approximately from a little higher than bench height, onto rubber mats.

Actually Sorinex does a bad job with dimensions on their site. They listed their base fit unlimited as 3x3 tube until I mentioned it on the phone with their customer service.

(Can't post links) Shows an overall length of 64 inches which is 8 inches shy of 6 ft, but 4 inches of that is just the bottom bolt down brackets on the bottom of the uprights making an effective length of 5 ft. Since I don't have this rack in front of me I would love to know if the dimension drawings in the link are accurate with the actual rack.

Totally awesome! The red against the black isn't normally what i'd go with, but seeing an actual shot of it changes my mind there. Love that it has dumbbell holders, those would definitely see a lot of use if I had one of these racks. Great plate collection too, i'm a big fan of Troy so i'd love to own VTX someday if ever the oppurtunity arose. Enjoy it well.

I like how the DB holders are set up outside the rack so all it takes is a slight roll of the bench to get to the dumbbell station quickly from the barbell work inside of the rack...Awesome set up! Hahaha making me second guess my Elitefts 2x2 rack (Which I'm sure will be going shortly for the Dark Horse...Hopefully lol).

Thanks for the advice man...Actually though it's not really about scraping it for the add-on features alone...I just really want this rack and for the price to own this 3x3 with a lot of the options seems better than what I paid for my 2x2 with all the bells and whistles, but if anything the Elite would be for sale rather than just junking it all together
