    any tips for a stim break that is coming up?

    I'm almost done logging mr hyde v2 and i know its time for a stim break. i love the stuff but i know i need a break. i ran game day, domination, enhanced, uncut , fast fuel, and now mr hyde consecutively. loll this is going to suck big time. should i taper down or just go cold turkey. the headaches are going to be insane i know this already.

    I would slowly taper down. It is never good to just stop cold turkey when it comes to high doses of caffeine.

    I would taper down. If you are using 3 scoops of whatever, drop down to 2 for a week, than 1 for a week, the next week maybe drink a cup of black coffee, than O caffeine. Your workouts might be off, but in the long run you will be okay.

    I agree with slowly tapering it down. It will be rough in the beginning but it will be worth it in the long run.

    I've found that I can avoid most noticeable side effects if I taper my caffeine down by ~100mg per day. Gives those extra adenosine receptors time to shrivel up gradually. So if I was on 600mg per day at my peak, weaning myself off over 6 days avoided all the nasty withdrawal symptoms for me.

    Just taper it down like other guys have said. Make sure you have a good non stim prewo. Hemavol, Body Octane and Green Mag are my non stim prewo gems.

    I finally reached 150mg last week. I was very stim sensitive where even 50mg got me wired but i am trying to build a tolerance so i can use other pre's without problems.

    I started a month long stim break myself and it sucks! Just taper off slowly so that it wont be too bad when you go off of it.

    Tapering is your best bet. If you go cold turkey, take a little ibuprofen when the headache shows up. That tends to keep me good until the same time the next day.

    So take half of the recommended dosage and essential "cheat" yourself?

    People take breaks from stims because their bodies become use to them and they don't work as they once did.

    Taper for sure. get a low stim PWO. the headache and FATIGUE will take you out if you dont slowly taper down.

    Meh, just stop cold turkey.

    I think doing that will make you use preworkouts more "strictly"

    I use a combo of carbs/hemavol/aminos during my workout when taking a break from stims.

    Try to cut out the pre-workouts and replace with a coffee or two a day to reduce caffeine intake at first, then to 1, then switch to a non-stim pre

    i'm on day 5, first time i've gotten off caffeine completely , prob was 500-600 mg a day

    lemme tell ya, first 3 days , brutal, i'm a cold turkey guy

    first day, nasty headache, 2nd and 3rd needed 2 naps a day,lol

    wake up feeling hung over

    but with each day i feel better

    i'd def try to stop on a thurs , that way you have fri , a work day, an 2 days to sleep

    Tapering down - takes longer, but usually eliminates severe caffeine headaches and helps with initial lethargy.
    Cold turkey - gets it over with quickly, but definitely sucks the first few days.

    Maybe plan a deload week at the gym for the first week of your stim break so you aren't overtaxing yourself. There are also several solid stim-free pres available to help out your performance: BodyForge 2.0, Body Octane, Hemavol - I've tried and enjoyed all three of these myself. Also, Push 10 gets a lot of solid feedbacl from what I have seen, though I haven't tried it myself.

    Tapering down is the way to go. I went to cold turkey, had unbearable headaches and half asleep during the day, one of the worst weeks of my life.

    Perfect idea, do like 1.5 scoops, 1 scoop, .5 scoop then cut it and into hemavol or a stim free pill.
