i mean, i love veggies, and i've been subtituting my dinner with this soup for the last 3 days..
ingrediants:
eggplant
zucchini
parsley
cauliflower
tomato
green beans
onion
garlic
boiled altogether in a single pot, adding sea salt + chili pepper for taste.
i can't make out what's the calories like on a big bowl of that, and i'm worried it would defeat my deficit.
any ideas?

Read quotes below...
i'm aware calories are formed from all those.. but quoted above "necon76": they're low on carbs.. my reply quoted as well, i'm not talking about carbs here, but about number of calories.
the ingrediants in my first post could all be (for example) 0 carbs, but they are high in fat or pro.. but i'm not after any of those numbers, i'm after the total cals. so my reply to necon76 was, i'm talking about cals, not carbs, not fats, not pros, only cal numbers...
hope it makes sense now..Knowledge is Power

Ok, I'll break it down for you, preschool-style. As has been pointed out to you, numerous times in this thread, vegetables contain nearly zero protein or fat, making them, essentially, all carbohydrate. As has also been pointed out, the vegetables you listed are low in carbohydrates. So if all ingredients are low carb *and* all ingredients are carb-only, and we know one gram of carbs is equal to 4kcal, then logic tells us these ingredients are low in calories.
Nobody knows how much of each ingredient you're adding to the pot, and nobody is going to do the math for you when you can just as easily do it yourself through FitDay/MyFitnessPal/SparkPeople/etc. The answers you have repeatedly been given are the best you can hope for.
**Edit - And I'm sincerely trying to help you, but trying to help you figure it out on your own. I hope I didn't come across as mean or sarcastic/trolly (aside from my first post which was, as chemo29 stated, only satire).Sgt, USMC
