I recently started getting into olympic lifting, and I therefore started doing double overhand hook grip deadlifts. The hook grip hurts, especially as the weights get heavy.
Any tips on how I can decrease the pain?

Probably not the smartest way to do it, but how I did it was deadlifting 405 for AMAP which I think was like 11 or 12 back then. It hurt like hell, but they have never hurt since
