Yeah ,he did have some concussion issues but overall pretty durable. hopefully he can bounce back...i'd love to see him play some pro ball for the Packers.

I was referring to his Badger Days...he was pretty dependable then for the most part. Not at all now.

I think a cap needs to be set on how a qb makes.

Bias aside...NOBODY deserves that kind of deal at this point...Rodgers is in a class of his own currently. He makes everyone around him much better as well. (see J. Jones, J. Boykin, etc)

Cutler got a huge contract...Flacco as well. There just isn't enough quality starting quarterbacks in the NFL so good ones (Eli) and ones thought to have the potential to be good (Cutler) are going to get overpaid.

Very True...but deservedly? No
We all know there are a LOT of players that make WAAAAY more than they should for many reasons including the one you just outlined. The worst part is that it hurts US, the fans. The contracts these athletes demand skyrocket prices of admission, food, merchandise, etc.

Its funny how many QB's are making *roughly* as much as Rodgers LOL. I feel like if he wanted to he could have hard-nosed the packers for like 30m/year -- but he didn't want to cripple the team. Just my theory, though..

If I were in their shoes I'd do the same thing. Take a few less million on a contract for a shot at a superbowl, or go to a bottom 10 team and win 2-6 games a year. Nothxjeff.

When we drafted him I pretty much assumed we'd be holding 3 QBs on the roster. I didn't think they'd even consider risking it. I should be able to watch the game tomorrow...I only watched the first quarter and a half of the first game. Interested to see how Hundley does

This can be said for a lot of spots honestly. We have one of the best problems you could possibly have right now -- so much depth it's hard to pick. I'm quite confident that our defense will improve greatly this year.
