Franklin news sucks so much. I was excited to see what he could do after that Cinci game. Sad to hear such a young player be done so quick.
It does make the James Starks resigning, which i criticized and hated before, make a lot more sense. Were still stacked a RB.

I was always on the Franklin bandwagon, the guy was an absolute monster in college. Sucks to see a guy's career cut so short.
Surprisingly, the hosts on the Big Show (1250 AM) yesterday afternoon were not that upset about hearing the Franklin news. Almost all of them thought that Franklin was a long shot to make the roster this year.Packers - Bucks - Brewers - Badgers
Green Bay Packers - Super Bowl XLV Champions!

Jesus that's sad
Never criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Damn that sucks. Not just for the team but for him. Gets drafted into the NFL after tearing it up in college and gets a career ending injury his first season. Talk about devastation

I didnt think we over payed, I just thought it was money we could of spent in better places like James Jones. Now that we know about franklin and drafted 3 WRs that sounds dumb, but at the time I would of liked that better. (I thought Franklin would b a weapon this year)

Jeff Janis and DuJuan Harris have been back as kickoff returners. Actually really like this combo.
Everyone's praising defense.
Eddie Lacy putting the hurt on.
Clay Mathews still not practicing.
Also found this interesting... "Next we travel to Green Bay, where the Packers are using a GPS system that they hope will help reduce injuries, per the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
The Packers have imported GPS technology from Catapult Sports -- an Australian company that introduced GPS technology for monitoring athletes in the early 2000s -- to help keep track of their players' workload during practices. The team hopes the information provided by the GPS system can yield some insight into how to tailor workout regiments to try to avoid injuries that have plagued players the past few seasons.Technological tinkering by teams during the offseason isn't new, but with the pervasiveness of systems now available, we expect more franchises to utilize high-tech gadgets more and more to try to gain an edge. "
Only team using this technology right now. We'll see who follows and how effective it is. Interesting nonetheless
McCarthy said Richard Rodgers is putting on weight and has had some awesome catches. Between him and Colt... Dayuum. Doesn't sound like the Finley thing is getting anywhere with the packers.

Crazy how 2 years ago, ced benson was our starter. Our team has whored thru RBs. This Franklin news is straight up heartbreaking for the kid. I'm happy we've finally found our hulk tho.
<3 <3 Lacy...AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE!!!....CUZ STONE COLD SAID SO!!!..

Brandon Bostick showed up at least 10lbs. overweight (most likely due to his injury) and Richard Rodgers has been so good as a receiving tight end there has been no mention of Colt...and little of Quarless.

Coaching staff has been high on DuJuan Harris...he was named the starter last year before going down. He has to be a lock for some third down duties now that the Packers are looking to lighten the workload on Lacy. McCarthy has pounded his lead back into a pulp in the past so it will be interesting to see if he sticks with giving more looks to Starks and Harris.

This is going to be the first preseason in quite some time where the 2nd & 3rd quarterback play will be watchable. No more Harrell or Coleman...thank you. Tolzien is reportedly putting in more work than the coaching staff (is there before them) and Flynn says there no guarantee that he will win the number two position. Looking forward to the battle.
