I saw him on Tuesday. He was doing chest right next to me. I assure you he is not your average 'gym rat' lol. He is still massive but I believe he took a few weeks of the weights after the O. He's really big on resting to avoid injuries.

phil comes off real good in that interview. He should spend less time arguing with farking 14 year olds on ******** and more time acting like a mature cool dude like that. Comes off smart, intelligent, and down to earth.
It actually makes me wonder if people hack is FB account or something???? <--serious question
as far as his look...I just think it is because he is short and small in stature and narrow and those black ass shirts make him look like he is some 200 pound dude with big arms and nothing else.

I've seen Phil twice irl, first time was guest posing with Darren Ball, and Darren Ball had that crazy freak factor that a off season Heath doesn't, and I was at last years Olympia when Heath quite rightfully won, what Phil doesn't have in that crazy huge look, such as Kai or Ramy he makes up for in separated full muscle bellies that gives his muscle a 3D 'pop'.
So maybe it's a combination of a smaller frame, coming off supps and backing off training after the O and only starts to look freaky at low bf, when the separation and full round bellies become apparent.

Agreed with that, but lol @ "average gym rat"
Anyways, I felt last year when he was like in the middle of his offseason and was already getting a little leaner, he looked super impressive cus he was lean enough to see the separation between each muscle group, but still had that full, round look and some pop to the muscle. Too heavy, and that separation can't be seen...he ends up looking puffy.

But in all seriousness, Phil's next show is a long long ways away ( Mr O ). So he doesn't need to look full blown all the time. He still has those big round muscle bellies. Which is never going to change. Beside, he's won 3 in a row now so off season doesn't matter at all. He certainly knows what he is doing!
