    Friday night we drove up to Cave City Ky and spent the night. Drove into Frankfurt to train at a pal's place for Strongman.

    Missy did 2 events that will be events at the masters womens pro worlds. She qualified again at natls this year and it's in Memphis.

    First event was 40' with a keg, push a prowler and then spin it and pull it back 40'. SHe did it twice with a 130 keg and then 175 which is contest weight.

    He second event is a keg over the bar for 60 seconds the bar is 50" she did a set of 4 with a 130 and then 175 keg which is also contest weight.

    I work with the stone of steel over 50"

    It was too early to contact you when we drove through...we thought about it and thought, too early with kids.

    We literally had enough time after training to drive to Mason, shower and go. Went to bed and got up and left.

    we were both a bit surprised with how she reacted and responded to the kegs. I was worried when i loaded 2 of them at home to 100 and 125 and she just felt the weight and thought they were heavy. The environment there for strongman at Davey's place really helps. It's one thing for me to do it with her but, with other lady competitors, it really helped her get in the zone so to speak.

    It varies on style of shirt and ply. in my old denims, I touched low. Raw it's right at the process or a touch below. I actually have to tough a bit higher on the single ply Ktana and the elbows are staying in place but, I don't keep them in as much as raw or the double. It's just how the shirt performs for me. This could change as this is only a handful of sessions int he past several years as I haven't been in a shirt until recently since 2014. So, it could adjust as I go, especially as I get into a tighter shirt.

    Wednesday

    I did a little aux and since I am so sore and worn out from the weekend and first 2 days, I didn't oly but, did set up my DIY standards and threw a 10, 15 and 20 kb over a little more than 11' and then the 30# sand bag. I bought a 42 masters throwing weight and threw it 3x. This will be very different for me.

    This will be a process. I htink I have some hammers coming and then I'll get more stuff as we go. I don't expect to be "good" at this but, I look forward to learning, expanding my horizons and then seeing where I stack up when the time comes.

    Today I just maintained. The Oly, log press and extra bp sessoins are a bit tough to recover from

    I did my typical warm up then cgbp 3x3 last rep paused with 160kg

    I may try and do some assistance with the evening crew. The throwing I could feel today as I was warming up. .

    Wednesday wk 4...Grant's last day with us was today...he wanted to work on front squat with a clean grip and power cleans and cleans. I did a few snatches with 60kg working with him.

    Hard to believe that he came to the gym over 8 years ago a 10 year old with behavior issues and failing school. Now, he has scholarships to wrestle in college. He stayed with us for over two months.
