Heading back to TX tomorrow after spending a few weeks in Ottawa, ON. Accepted my airplane with its new engine in CYOW, saw Chris DeBurgh in concert, saw family, walked among the tulips in Ottawa.

Looking forward to getting back to the good ole US of A though.

Getting back to mma. It’s amazing the amount of fighters who support trump and praise him in post fight interviews. The crowds always pop for any pro trump comments from fighters too.

Trump is good friends with Dana who has had him in attendance at ufc shows too which crowds cheer hard.

I don't think I have passed by a lemonade stand without stopping in decades. (if i did it was an accident) I don't really care for the stuff, but when I see little kids with a stand I always stop, chat them up and donate a bit of that Jingle Jangle.

This weekend I went to a bunch of yard/garage sales and there were at least a half dozen of the little entrepreneurs out there peddling the Yellow stuff at different sales, I asked one little girl what she was going to do with her earning and she said..

Oh sir, let me tell you, I have a new puppy and I am going to buy him some presents, she said wait here, don't leave, she went in the house and came back with the cutest 8 week old German short haired pointer that I have ever seen. The little girl was about 5 years old maybe and to see her smile with a new best friend for life really made my day.

Well, that was unexpected. Germany just eliminated the U.S. in the Basketball World Cup Semi-Finals. But tbh I haven't followed the sport closely in many years so have no idea of the relative strength of the teams. Guessing the U.S. didn't send their best players.
