Interesting how ghost stories always seem to happen when it's dark. The human brain evolved to recognize patterns, a side effect of this is it will sometimes assign patterns when none are present, especially if it has incomplete information, like darkness.

Well I don't believe in this stuff at all tbh, but I can tell you that from time to time at night we hear the sounds of someone walking around on the main floor and sometimes stamping around. My parents set up cameras to see if it was a case of one of those people who live inside crawl spaces or attics that you don't know about and come steal food etc.. during the night, but after a week of filming there was nothing, and yet they kept hearing the footsteps etc... I just recently moved back in with them and the last time I lived here when I was 18, I was in the basement working out early in the morning and I heard the door open and someone walk down half way before the turn to finish walking down, and then turn around and stamp back up. When I finished working out I walked upstairs, just as my parents were coming in from the garage from grocery shopping and I asked them if they were coming to put laundry on or something, and they said they were out before I woke up and just got back when I did. I told them what happened and they said they experience similar stuff.
We had other family members staying with us for a while as their house was being built and they stayed in the basement and told us they often heard someone walking around up above them and waking them up around 12am-1am. Kind of spooky as I don't have an explanation but I still don't think it's a ghost but who knows.*Live slow, Die whenever Crew*

I do not like this at all.
I actually experienced sleep paralysis earlier this year. Had a nightmare about this demonic white-faced figure with multiple limbs crawling across the ceiling, chasing me from room to room in some abandoned building. Woke up, happy that it was over. Was lying in my dorm on the top bunk, looking out into the darkness, when suddenly that same white-faced demon slowly started rising into my vision. It was right in front of my face, and I was powerless to do anything about it. The demon disintegrated soon after. Not bull****ting at all. I knew what was happening, but I can see how someone could perceive it as reality as well. Absolutely terrifyingLast edited by TGreggors; 12-30-2013 at 12:58 PM.

The other night, I was dreaming.
Was at my friends house, he walked around the corner, his face immediately turned into a cartoon looking elephant as he saw me.
I woke up frightened, looked at my bedside, saw like 3 people looking at me. The one on the left was short, middle one was tall, and on his cell phone.
I got outta bed, literally felt like i walked through them, turned on the light and they were gone.
First time experiencing anything like this.
What wierd is that I wasnt paralyzed, and wasn't filled with the fear that most people describe.

Christmas Night I fell asleep real early, my dad was staying the night over on the couch and I was in my room. I woke at about 11 and saw this woman in all black laying next to me smiling and I was like "I see you, are you kidding me". Then i looked in the closet and saw just a head mounted on one of the shelves, so I jumped out of bed and said I'mma **** you up and ran into my closet punching ****. Dad opens the door and turns on my light hearing me cursing and I had grabbed his clothes and where he put his stuff (Where there usually isn't stuff) lol. Wasn't super scary, I seem to wake up a lot and feel wierd **** and stuff and usually just pray or call it out.
My room mate however, (We live in a super old place high cielings, very creaky wood floors.) saw a figure like 10ft standing in his closet one night and it scared him ****less, ended up searching everywhere thinking someone broke in lol

have witnessed an "exorcism" to my cousin. never knew what **** was going on we were in a room. the adults were telling us to stay in this room, sneaked to see my cousin trying to strangle the priest and the priest slammed this giant metal rod to him. Prior to this my cousin, who i thought was normal and completely sain saying he's feeling in pain, crawling into a ball crying in agony. Was a real strange day events prior to it. Needless to say what i got told later i took as a joke was that he was possessed by a demon witch, yeah was never really thought about what was happening or happened until quite recently... was like 11

I believe in them. But I think it takes an overly sensitive person to see/feel them. My wife is one of those people. I'm far from it.
My wife used to live in a haunted house. She had stories that would make your hair stand up. You can blame some of it on your mind and sleep paralysis but how do you explain your dogs constantly growling at nothing in the middle of hallways? Balls bouncing in rooms where nobody has been. Footsteps up and down the stairs when nobody else is home.
Her sister lives in an old house that has a few ghosts in it. Everyone in that family has seen or felt something in that house.Toxic Masculinity

Only thing you mentioned that has any sort of credibility is the dog growling. In my experience dogs have a much better sense of wtf is going on around you. They pick up on stuff that you miss.
But lol at people who actually believe in ghosts. Cmon bros... there's no ****ing evidence. Don't let your mind play tricks on you.

Hey, I was a non-believer until my wife and other people I know tell me stories.
Here's one;
My wife lived in that house i was telling you about with another couple. They had lost the remote to the TV a few weeks prior. They looked everywhere for it and never found it. Then one day when my wife was alone in the house and taking a nap she woke up to the dogs barking and the remote was on her chest. ON HER CHEST. Nobody else was home.Toxic Masculinity

I work security for some creepy azz theaters. Seen and heard a lot of s**** but still don't believe in ghost. Your mind will make you see and hear things you really want to see, especially at night and when you're tired. You are the creator of your own reality.
Also I get sleep paralysis a lot. I always heard people say that when they get it, they feel a demon on their chest choking them. I never experienced this, I would just panic a little, calm myself down and wake up or go to sleep to do some lucid dreaming. BUUUUT last week I "woke up" to a "demon/ghost" on my chest. I panic hard, thing was gouging at my chest and I couldn't move. Then, from what my bro told me (share room with him), I sat up screaming, punched a hole in the wall and passed out again. Woke up later thinking it was a nightmare and then I saw my wall and knuckles busted up and my bro told me what I did. Saw something like this but white. So if you *******s that believe in ghost ever see a ghost like this with a broken jaw, you know why.Last edited by GusTrain; 12-30-2013 at 02:47 PM. Reason: Pic

Yes they are. Contrary to popular beliefs and the way they picture it in movies, you cannot SEE ghosts.
But that doesn't mean they are not real just that you can't see them. Pretty sure the lady who died here goes to church every once in a while, because on sundays when nobody is home the alarm system beeps like the door opened. Not sure if ghost actually, but someone died here and when nobody is home the entrance beep goes off sometimes. weird
