We expect today tons of new details about Ubisoft’s upcoming “Watch Dogs”, Today starts the Watch Dogs week, And here we go with the second batch of screenshots and artworks, but this time its different.

The new screenshots not for the city, not for some cars and shooting, its about Aiden clothes, showcasing seven different clothes for the main character in the game Aiden Pearce.

Fantastic Watch_Dogs PS4 Footage and Screenshots Show that the Game Was Well Worth The Wait




Watch_Dogs is just a little more than a month away, and today we can see quite a lot of new gameplay footage from the game together with an interesting Q&A with Lead Game Designer Danny Belanger, courtesy of the good folks at PlayStation Access. In addition to that, you can also enjoy a lovely batch of new screenshots coming directly from Ubisoft, that also show the upcoming free companion app ctOS Mobile.

The b-roll footage definitely looks lovely and very dynamic, demonstrating that when a game gets delayed it’s not always a bad thing.

We’ll have to stand by and see the final result on May 27th, but my interest is fully piqued. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Lords of the Fallen Dev: 1080p 'Tougher' on Xbox One Than PS4




Though the final framerate and resolution of next-gen RPG Lords of the Fallen is yet to be revealed, the developer has acknowledged achieving 1080p on Xbox One is "slightly tougher" than doing the same on PlayStation 4.

IGN spoke to Tomasz Gop, executive producer at CI Games, who told us that while the team was confident they'd be able to hit at least 30fps, their current thinking is it'd be better to operate at a lower framerate in a bid to achieve higher resolutions.


"We definitely won’t be below 30fps, definitely," he said. "I think if we have to choose between resolution and framerate, we’ll probably choose to go full HD 1080p and have a stable, rock-solid 30fps, rather than try to lower the resolution and push it to 60fps because we believe this game looks pretty good, so we’d rather have a decent resolution to show it off.


"We’re working very hard right now to deliver PS4 and Xbox One in 1080p but I can’t confirm whether it’s possible. It’s probably easier for me to confirm it’ll happen for PlayStation 4, because it appears on this one we’re almost nailing it and pretty much there. For Xbox One though, it’s slightly tougher and we’re still working on it, so I can’t confirm that yet."

First announced last year, Lords of the Fallen is the new project from ex-Witcher producer Tomasz Gop and has billed itself as "Borderlands meets Dark Souls," promising to provide a challenge for those who play it.

Borderlands news

Starting May 31, Borderlands for the PS3 Going Offline




With GameSpy closing shop, a lot of games will be losing their online services. Borderlands on the PlayStation 3 is one of the games going offline next month, as well as other 2K titles the publisher announced today. Online services for Borderlands and Civilization Revolution on the PS3 will be shutting down beginning May 31. 2K Games is currently looking at the “technical feasibility” of transitioning those titles to another Multiplayer service.

Online services for “select legacy titles” including; Borderlands on the PC and the Civilization catalog will temporarily be shutting down until 2K Games transitions to Valve’s Steamworks. Offline play will not be affected, “players will not experience interruptions to offline play for these titles.” 2K Games has said.

In a world fast approaching digital only services, it will be interesting to see how developers and publishers decide to keep their games running for years to come. Just think if you couldn’t boot up your old N64 or PlayStation 2 games anymore because they were run online.
