SummaryFeeling pretty good about todays workout! Almost back up to my PR on bench press, hopefully next week. I really feel like the floor presses are helping. Chest is feeling pretty tired right now but still have energy to spare. Focus was right where I needed it to be! Pump was pretty damn good, triceps felt like rocks by the time I was done and had a great pump in my chest! Overall I think it was a decent session! SummaryThis is from this morning. Went pretty well, much better than I was expecting. Sleep was okay last night, but Blast helped get me out of the fog this morning! Focus was great and well maintained in to a good portion of work. Strength was pretty well maintained and didn't suffer that much. Blast and a good workout is the best way to start the morning! Gotta squeak out a few more PRs before the end of the log

Prime Review
Mixability/Texture: 10/10This mixes extremely well! Not sure, what I was expecting but this is a lot better than I thought it would be. I was kinda expected it too be gritty just because its a beef protein, but it is the complete opposite. Mixes extremely well, it did foam a little when I mixed it; nothing bad though. I've mixed it in 8-9oz of water and 6oz of water, it mixed quickly in both. Only had to shake the cup for maybe 10 seconds and it was completely mixed. I found that it mixes a lot better in almond milk, thickens it up nicely as well!
Taste: 10/10The taste is perfect! I always have to find a good mix of water and protein powder for what tastes good to me, so I'm not deducting points for that. It was a little watered down to me with 8-9oz of water, but in 6 oz of water it is awesome! At that amount of water it has a very strong flavor. It isn't something that I could get bored of. It has a very smooth vanilla flavor, tastes almost like vanilla ice cream! Could definitely see myself cooking with this! Started mixing it with almond milk…. so damn good! Tasted like pudding at 8oz of milk and 1 scoop!
Overall: 9.5/10This is a great product! Flavor is delicious especially after mixing with almond milk! The profile is great, Love the fact that it is beef protein rather than whey! This is a person with lactose intolerances dream! It is good that it has the added BCAA and creatine. Feel like my DOMS were kept down while using this product (along with Blast). I looked forward to having this when I got back from the gym! Had my wife try a sip of this and she loved it as well! SummaryMy legs feel completely dead at this point! Walking back home was difficult….wobbly as hell lol! Had to change up my routine a little because someone was in the squat rack, so warmed up with walking lunges. Just kinda threw me off a little. Squats felt great, strength was perfect! Didn't really feel it suffer at all today. Energy and focus were also spot on! Took a little longer to kick in because had lunch about 40-50 minute before hitting the gym. So I guess it was good starting with lunges haha. It has been a pleasure to be able to log for SES sports and their great reps! Final review for Blast should be up by the weekend….maybe tomorrow if I get snowed in lol

Final Review of Blast
Taste/mixability: 10/10
First day I went with 8 oz of water with 1 scoop of Blast, which was a little too sweet for my taste. Increased it today to 12 oz of water and it is perfect! With the increased water it a lot better in my opinion! Has almost a Tang like tastes, not something I could get sick of. It mixed extremely well in both amounts of water. I didn't have any grittiness, only shook the shaker for a few seconds. Most of it dissolved pretty quickly and the rest goes away in a few shakes, Had no residue on the bottom of the shaker cup when I was done.
Profile: 10/10The profile is great for Blast! It has a few ingredients that are an interesting addition including: GABA, Adenosine Monophosphate, and theobromine! I also like the fact that it contains BCAAs in it even though its a preworkout. I don't think there is anything that I would change in the formula. Not really much to add about the profile, might not be fore everyone; but I like it!
Effects: 9.5/10
Energy has been great, keeps me going even when my strength started to fade. I had the energy consistently kick in pretty quick. Only had a few days where it took a little longer, but that was on days that I ate 30-40 minutes before hand. Strength usually stays pretty consistent, only had a few days that severely dipped but I don't think it was the Blast. Focus wasn't an issue through the length of the log, all I could focus on was lifting things up and putting them down! Pump has pretty good most days, Pumps kicked in pretty quickly as well! Through the entire log I haven't noticed any side effects, no crashes or jitters. I have noticed that I get really warm quickly while in the gym, feel like i'm sweating a lot more! This subsided on days that I used 1/2 scoop and came back when I started using more than 3/4 of a scoop.
Overall: 9.7/10I would give Blast a 9.7! Taste and mixability are perfect! Didn't have any issues when I found the perfect mixture for myself. Had great sustainable energy with Blast, same with focus! Strength for the most part didn't suffer and was well maintained through all workouts! Pumps were pretty great throughout most days as well! For $24 for 32 servings, the price is very good! Comes out to about $0.75 per serving if you use 1 scoop, cheaper if you use 3/4-1/2 scoop! This has been a solid PWO!
