8/10. It definitely made 3 hours out of 2 hours' worth of material, and was painfully repetitive. But it was enjoyable, and that's what's most important. It was a truly funny movie in the 1st and 2nd acts, and had a well done dramatic turn in the 3rd.

This is a really good description of the movie.
It overdid it, in my opinion, on the drugs and sex portrayal. Not saying that I hated that they had it, but they just showed so much of it throughout the movie and had too many whole scenes dedicated to just how hard they party that it just kind of got in the way of the story towards the second half.
There were several epic parts like when Leo gave the motivational speeches and I really liked the scene with the FBI guys on the yacht.
It kind of reminded me of Pain and Gain in that it took a pretty f*cked up story and made it into a black comedy/drama. Though this had Scorcese and Leo in it so it had more quality in my opinion.5/23

A lot of good movies out.
You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.

Absolutely not.
LOL, what? I enjoyed Gatsby because it was pretty true to the source material, but that was no career performance.
What. Prisoners and The Place Beyond the Pines were the two best movies this year, IMO. Prisoners was brilliant.Near, far, wherever you are...
