    Today is Sunday, and rest day! I work on my usual food prep for the week, and spend some relaxing time watching movies with my boyfriend and catching up on some reading. My son returns from a field trip to Delaware very late tonight...getting back to the school after midnight...so it will be interesting when my alarm goes off at 4am tomorrow morning for fasted a.m. cardio. But I WILL DO IT!!!

    I spent a lot of time this weekend watching live stream of the Arnold (thanks to bb.com) and following along on ******** and instagram. It's always so exciting and so motivating to see all of the hard work the athletes have put in and see them on stage! All of that really got me excited for these final three weeks of my build phase, and really looking forward to cutting! So excited for my next show at the end of May! I am on a very tight budget, so was not planning on getting a new suit, but I started looking around for some deals I found one that I absolutely love!!! So, I have found a way to budget it in, and now even more excited to step on that stage! My last show some friends and I did our own tans and they turned out really good, that saved a lot on expenses so will be doing that again for sure! And...this next show, for the first time, I will be doing my own make-up (with the help of my awesome friends who compete in bikini and they do their own and do an amazing job! They are very happy to help me, so very grateful for that!
    M, I am sure you will find a way to cut corners and still look awesome! I would suggest buying your shoes from EBay, they have a large selection of acrylic heels that are inexpensive. Also, there are at least two ladies on Etsy that make amazing competition suits ...should you need one. Best of luck in all you do! ~Erin

    Thank you Erin...yes, I can be quite clever when I want something! Etsy is where I found my suit!!! It looks like I am going to be able to buy it next week! I am going to wear my same jewelry, I love it and it is still in great condition. I still have my heels from when I did figure, but no more heels for me, we do not wear them in Physique so at least I do not need worry about those wearing out and replacing...some of my bikini friends are already having to buy new ones!

    Days 74, 75, 76 & 77 - Week 11

    Okay, catching up on the last half of Week 11 of my 12 Week build plan...

    Thursday, Day 74
    A.M. fasted cardio, intervals on the elliptical. Then back to the gym after work for back.

    Friday, Day 75
    Off day from lifting, so double cardio. A.M. fasted cardio before work and then back to the gym after work for steady state cardio. And...I have my last cheat tonight! Last one for 10 weeks! I had to have my favorite...a big bowl of gelato

    Saturday, Day 76
    Hit the gym today for shoulders and also did abs. I have not been targeting abs specifically during these past 11 weeks. I've only done them a few times. With the training I have been doing, especially my back, I have really been working my abs and have seen some good improvement and added muscle.

    Sunday, Day 77
    Today is food prep, getting myself ready for my new plan and relaxing...my weeks are so busy I love when I can enjoy a lazy Sunday and even watch a few movies!

    I am now 10 weeks out from the Jay Cutler Classic, Boston. Instead of finishing off the 12th week of the build plan, I am starting my cutting tomorrow!!! I have a lot of work to do, but I am really excited. I am in a much better place at 10 weeks out than my other shows. I am still a newbie at this, so it's still so much learning about what works for my body, and how my body responds to different things.

    I have my new training and nutrition plan, received my Final Cutz on Friday (and actually started taking that yesterday) and I am ready to do this!!!

    I just took these pics this morning, 10 weeks out....

    Thank you David! I do really like this one, but I actually just bought a new suit and sold this one to help pay for it Thank you, and best of luck to you too!     When I was at the Arnold, I wanted to get a comp suit just for ****z and giggles and then I saw the price tag and almost fell over! 450??? I didn't get it.

    Yeah for no more high heels. Sorry to say but that just looks so silly on stage!

    Thanks so much! I know, the suits are so expensive!!! I found one at a good price and I am selling my other two (already sold one, an the other will sell for sure!)...so that helps for sure! I wore heels when I did Figure, and then when I switched to Physique no more heels...such a difference when I am standing next to my bikini and figure friends back stage!

    Thank you so much for checking in, I really appreciate that! Cutting and comp prep is going really well! The build plan that I was on set me up really well...the nutrition, training and cardio was designed for me to make improvements in the areas that I needed to work on, as well as gain some muscle, but also get a little lean. Now the cutting is going so much easier, and I am in a much better place at this stage than previously. I am 5 1/2 weeks out to the show right now and feeling feeling good! I have also been spending time practicing my posing, but I do need to get my butt in gear and spend more time on my routine!
