My Goals I want to have achieved by 31st December 2014.
Fitness
220kg deadlift/ BW + 60kg Dip/ 120kg Front squat/ Strict 100kg BB row.
Get there using growth stimulus training. consistent diet (no skipping meals) and good sleeping patterns
Increased flexibility. Be able to do a high kick without falling backwards. Be able to do the splits - sideways and front ways.
Get there by being consistent with my flexibility training. Dynamic and static stretches each morning. Static stretches after each workout and before bed.
Fix my forward head posture and rounded forward shoulders
Consistent flexibility training plus posture fixing exercises from Elliot Hulse
Remain very healthy with an immaculate diet, no regular junk food (obviously a cheat meal now and then is allowed), 3 litres of water a day, and half a litre of green tea a day.
Education
Continue reading but I must stay consistent. One book per week and log the books I read
Finance
Only buy what I need. No buying useless crap. No unnecessary purchases. Each time I spend money decide if I really need it. When food shopping, only buy healthy food aimed towards my goals. No silly comfort food.
Start working on a business for additional income. One is a website making money through AF. The other is buying in bulk and selling. By the end of 2014 I may not have a highly successful business but I need to have started, I need to have made money through it and I need to have LEARNT some dos and don'ts.
Mind, body, spirit
Follow Elliot Hulses breathing exercises each morning
Be consistent with yoga
Meditate daily
No porn and no fap. I don't want to be controlled by any addictions.
Daily cold shower
By the end of 2014 I want a mind that is capable of remaining calm under stress, doesn't react emotionally to situations that don't warrant it and be able to stay sharp, concise and logical. I don;t wish to be controlled by anything other than myself. I don't want to suffer urges from addictions or silly illogical wants. I don't wish to be paralyzed by shyness, anxiety or fear of what people think.
General rif raf
I want to have traveled to 2 new countries.
I want to have had sex with a girl
I want to learn how to fix basics on my car. I am useless with cars - once had to call a mechanic just to change my tyre (no homo). I'm doing all basics myself this year and will not pay someone to do it for me. By the end of 2014 I will have learnt to change bulbs, wiper blades, oils, filters and possibly disc pads.
I practice jeet kun do and by the end of 2014 want to be at blue belt level.Misc Yes Man Crew http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146174783&p=909309803#post909309803

Here you go brah: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...ight=500+words
XXXV. When you have decided that a thing ought to be done and are doing it, never avoid being seen doing it, though the many shall form an unfavorable opinion about it. For if it is not right to do it, avoid doing the thing; but if it is right, why are you afraid of those who shall find fault wrongly?

saw a thread about goals a while back and actually made a spreadsheet with 50 or so goals that i think are attainable within 2014. some are personal and some are career or finance related.
some random ones include
-enroll and pass a graduate class (just graduated undergrad this year)
-go skydiving
-save up x amount of money by mid year
-learn to play an instrument
-try a new beer from every US state (i love craft beer so i'm pretty stoked for this one)
-read a book/week for a month (i really want to get back into reading whether fiction or nonfiction)
that being said, i'm excited to see what 2014 brings. 2013 has been pretty life-changing so far so i'm interested to see how next year pans out
