Seriously the gig is up. If you've maintained unemployment year after year you're either:

-Not really looking for work
-Turning down jobs you think are beneath you (which is none at this point)
-Or you're simply unemployable.

I'm all for people getting help when they need it but ffs get a friggin job already. Landing a job isn't hard, getting the job you want or finding work you're willing to do is the only thing that's become more difficult in the past few years.

-Buddy gets 340 a week in unemployment benefits because he had a good 45-60k job
-I think this comes out to like 10/hr if 40 hours a week after taxes
-so even if the guy found a job for 15-16/hr which is unlikely in our area with no degree then hes making 15-10=5 dollars an hour and getting up 5x a week to work when he can just go to college and enjoy 10/hr of money hes paid in from working full time for 7-8 years.
