Of course not he's a great grappler but going by the first fight I think Weidman has the edge. He hit Anderson a lot in the short time they were on the ground including one shot that really hurt him, and also was closer to getting that kneebar than people seem to think.

If he's talking about making weight tomorrow, there is probably a stipulation from Poirier's camp which says he must be xxx pounds by x:xx time tomorrow for them to take the fight. Or maybe Rhonda is gonna make 145 tomorrow for him, just to show him that it can be done.

Either way I'm happy with the outcome of the main event. If Silva wins we get to see the GOAT make another run before he hangs em up, and if Weidman wins we legit might get to see a champ who could retire undefeated. Either way is good for me. Plus I hope Tate destroys Honda. She irritates me to no end. Plus Tate looks like she's focused. A lot more than their first fight or when she won the belt in SF

Honda has the best chance out of anyone retiring undefeated in the UFC. Her division is the weakest in the sport and she has talked about retiring young so she can get knocked up.

Silva looked stronger and serious at the weigh-ins, even wearing serious clothes. I think Weidman will go for the take down pretty consistently and grapple/lean on silva to tire him out. A serious motivated Silva is not a guy anyone wants to stand with
