there is nothing proprietary about the equipment. lighting and HVAC wholesalers are as cheap or cheaper since they buy the same equipment at scale. growers just feel safer atm buying from specific suppliers because of trust. once everything is legal, things will go downhill. who has a better price on MH lights or exhaust or ducting? a grow seller who does 5M in sales or a lighting wholesaler that does 200M?

could not agree more, but I'm banking on potheads feeling more comfortable with weed shops and their promotion

in addition, I'm sure they'll incorporate smaller items to sell like litmus paper to test pH and whatnot to growers

Yes, lights and growing equipment by itself is not what makes PHOT special what makes this stock special is that PHOT is trying to make contracts with dispensaries in which PHOT provides grow equip and lighting and all that stuff, while the dispensaries give them a piece of their revenue
