downloading the update to play in Experimental right now. Just got killed in the stable servers at the military base just south of the NWAF... a guy came right up behind me and point blank shot me in the head with an SKS.

i loved the dayz mod and soon as the standalone got released i played abit and found its not even worth playing because of all the bugs, installed it again today and to be honest i have found it is even worse then when it first started, i couldnt even bandage myself as it wasnt working i couldnt pick things up on several servers i tried to kill people for them to randomly lag jump to miles infront of me i tried all the low ping servers... absolute waste of time considering the dayzmod for arma was really really good

^ yeah, standalone is actually a step down from the mod tbh. the devs are just focussed on adding useless crap like towns up north and 50319 pistols that you will never find ammo for.
