So now that we're back to bulking I'm adding a little cream to my protein shakes, and the flavor I'm using right now is chocolate peanut butter, and quite honestly it's one of the best things I've ever tasted.

Did arms tonight, which I actually really enjoy because it's a nice short workout and a good break from hitting giant muscle groups, and I do want huge arms so devoting some time to them isn't a bad thing. It looks like a lot of work but didn't really need any rest so finished in under 45 mins which was pretty good.

    October 28: Arms

    Superset:

    Barbell Curl:
    5x8x50lbs

    Incline Skullcrushers:
    5x8x40lbs

    Superset:
Incline Db Curl (with wrist twist):
    1x10x15lbs
    4x10x12.5lbs

--> The incredibly humbling incline curl, everybody

Triceps Pushdown (20 full, 20 partial rom):
    1x40x40lbs
    1x40x30lbs
    3x40x20lbs

    Superset:
    Bench Dips:
    1X16
    1X17
    1x18
    1x12
    1x14

    Machine Preacher Curls:
    5x30x25lbs

--> Ended up being kinda partial reps + rest pauses for a lot of these, but couldn't go lower than 25lbs without just pulling the pin which I refuse to do so there you go

And done! Super excited for shoulders tomorrow. Arm day is basically a vanity workout but I genuinely enjoy it.

Pic of the day- not sure who this is but srs wheels. Those hams are like stuck on.

Worked out last night but crashed early so I could get up and swap current rims to winter ones but it turns out the winter wheels + tires from old car don't fit on new one, so ordering in new wheels and will get them done sometime next week.

    Oct 29:

    Superset:

    Standing Military Press:
    1x12x65lbs
    3x12x55lbs
    1x12x45lbs

    Upright Barbell Row:
    4x12x50lbs
    1x12x40lbs

    Superset:

    Side Lateral Raises:
    1x12x10lbs
    2x12x12.5lbs
    2x12x15lbs

    Front Dumbbell Raises:
    1x12x10lbs
    4x12x7.5lbs

    Ab Roller:
    100 reps

And done! Shoulders were super pumped after workout even though I was kinda like, "that's it?" for some of the numbers. Have lots of weeks to add weight though.

Motivational pic of the day- truth. No such thing as too much peanut butter. And what is bread but a device to transport it to your mouth.

Woke up yesterday feeling pretty crappy but I think it's just sinus garbage from weather changes. It's really trying to snow here but it's not cold enough yet so everything just kinda getting damp.

Probably going to crash for a nap and see if I can feel better before I go work out again later tonight.

    Nov 2: Back + Chest;

    Superset:

    Pullups:
    2x8
    2x7
    1x6

--> I know I'm going to eventually hate doing a ton of pullups so in order to be technically doing less of them I'm focusing on doing each one full rom from a total dead hang, which is fun

    Barbell Bench Press:
    1x12x95lbs
    4x12x115lbs
--> These are feeling good but not in an "I should add more weight" kinda way yet

    Superset:

    Incline Dumbbell Press:
    1x12x35lbs
    4x12x40lbs

--> Wanted to go a little heavier but couldn't get the 45s up so sticking with the 40s for now I guess

    Seated Cable Rows:
    5x12x100lbs

--> All row variations still fave exercise of all time

    Superset;

    Pullups:
    1x6
    2x7
    1x6
    1x7

    Dumbbell Flyes:
    1x12x27.5lbs
    4x12x35lbs

    Bent Arm Dumbbell Pullovers:
    6x12x25lbs

And done! Legs tonight which I am simultaneously excited for and dreading.

And meme of the day- Jesus knows when you skip workouts.

So felt substantially better after nap but unfortunately workout didn't go quite as awesome as I wanted. Oh well, got it done and that's what matters.

    Nov 3: Legs:

    Superset:

    SLDL:
    1x12x135lbs
    1x12x145lbs
    3x12x155lbs

    Seated Leg Curls:
    1x12x85lbs
    4x12x100lbs

-->So the only other person in the gym was using the leg press, so I did this superset first instead of the squats, which turned out to be a poor decision but that is what it is. Super happy with what I pulled though.

    Superset:

    Squat:
    2x12x135lbs
    1x5x135lbs

--> After first set was like, maybe I should lower weight because hams were already pretty burned out, but didn't, and then 3rd set something felt off in my left hip and elected to just stop there. Dropping weight substantially still didn't feel right so rather than risk pulling something abandoned squats for the day.

    Leg Press:
    2x12x270lbs
    3x12x180lbs

--> Lowered weight here because I thought hip weirdness might actually have been caused by getting "pushed back" on the leg press rather than the squatting itself. In any case, these sets were good.

    Superset:

    Barbell lunge:
    5x12x60lbs

--> Lunges actually felt fine but decided to be cautious and keep them light anyways.

    Leg Press Calf Raises:
    5x12x180lbs

And done! Ab roller is at large again so didn't do any of those but still feel like workout went really well. Did a few stretches before I left just in case, but feel I dodged any sort of actual problem. We'll see how legs go next time. Really feel like doing them in the wrong order was the problem though, should have accepted it and started a little lighter with the squats.

And for pic of the day- orca bringing the pain:
Someone once told me the definition of hell- Your last day on earth, the person you become meets the person you could have become.

Quick numbers update. Somehow forgot to post yesterday night but definitely did work out. Sinuses still bugging me so looking forward to a few rest days. Decided not to skip workouts because it was just arms and shoulders is a really short one, but did move less weight on some of the exercises due to feeling crappy.

    Nov 4: Arms:

    Superset:

    Barbell Curl:
    1x8x50lbs
    4x8x40lbs

    Incline Skullcrushers:
    5x8x40lbs

    Superset:

    Incline Dumbbell Curl:
    5x10x12.5lbs

Triceps Pushdown (20 full, 20 partial rom)
    2x40x30lbs
    3x40x20lbs

    Superset:

    Bench Dips:
    1x17
    1x20
    1x13
    2x15

    MAchine Preacher Curls:
    5x30x25lbs

    Nov 5: Shoulders:

    Superset:

    Standing Barbell Press:
    5x12x45lbs

    Upright Barbell Row:
    2x12x50lbs
    3x12x40lbs

    Superset:

    Side Lateral Raises:
    2x12x15lbs
    2x12x12.5lbs
    1x12x15lbs

    Front Dumbbell Raises:
    2x12x7.5lbs
    1x12x5lbs
    2x12x7.5lbs

    Ab Roller:
    1x100

    And done!

Hoping to move more weight next week, this semi-sick stuff is garbage. Like either knock me out or leave me alone please, this not quite being functional but close enough that I can't just do nothing is so annoying.

And pic of the day- I don't do coffee but it seems to me like decaf completely misses the point. Like, coffee tastes like butt, why would you drink it for any reason but the caffeine:

Was pretty excited to get into the gym last night, so many days off means I spend all Sunday just being like "YAY GYM" but sinuses still feeling kinda crappy which sucks. Did feel pretty strong when I walked in though so that was excellent.

    Nov 9: Back + Chest:

    Superset:

    Pullups:
    2x10
    1x8
    2x6

    Barbell Bench Press:
    1x12x95lbs
    4x12x115lbs

    Superset:

    Incline Dumbbell Press:
    1x12x35lbs
    1x12x40lbs
    2x12x45lbs
    1x12x40lbs

--> Really happy to get a couple 45lb sets in here.

    Seated Cable Rows:
    5x12x100lbs
--> Next jump is to 120 so probably going to be at 100 for a bit.

    Superset:

    Pullups:
    2x7
    1x6
    1x8
    1x6

    Dumbbell Flyes:
    5x12x35lbs

    Bent Arm Dumbbell Pullover:
    1x12x25lbs
    5x12x20lbs

--> 25lbs felt like too much actual work and not enough stretch so dropped the weight and the next sets felt much more like they were supposed to.

And done! Legs tonight which I am half excited but also all like 'ughhh leggss" about.

Virtually maintaining rn and I actually might stick with it for a little bit, we'll see what I decide in the next couple weeks. I'm feeling like I look amazing, getting lots of comments on it at work. Had a guy on Saturday night insistent that "I must compete" and I was explaining that I want to do physique and I'm not quite there yet, and he was like but isn't physique really big, and I'm like nah they just look big on stage, but like, stage weight at my height would be 125-130ish and that's what I run at now, so they'd actually be smaller because it'd be more muscle and less fat. Optical illusion stuff.

24hr grocery store was closed after the gym which is upsetting. Apparently they were doing a system update and i'm like uggghhh but i am out of meats other than chicken which i hate

Leg workout went well tonight, kept it realistic with the weight and honestly with this much volume and supersets I don't need to be doing my 12rm every time, nor is it really possible.

    Nov 10: Legs

    Superset:

    Squat:
    1x12x95lbs
    4x12x115lbs

    3x12x65lbs

    Leg Press Calf Raises:
    5x12x270lbs

    Ab Roller:
    1x50

And done! Eye appointment later this morning so just killing time until then.

So tonight at work a lady who worked there like over 5 years ago came in and was totally messed up on something and when the manager told her she had to leave she grabbed a painting off the wall and took off, and he was too stunned to grab her as she ran down the street with it. Don't even know.

Have to be up earlyish tomorrow to go swap to winter rims so just posting numbers quick and then crashing.

So ended up waking up too early and then not being able to sleep again, and barely getting any sort of nap in before work so it was just all wrong. At least had a great shift. Ended up at the gym hungry and exhausted, but in light of that very happy with what I moved. Tried to just get through it as quickly as possible so I could go home to eat and sleep.
