As much as it sucks for the punter, this is absolutely correct.
In HS my coaches always told us that if you shy away from a hit / do anything but go 100% into it, you WILL get hurt.
I found that it holds true for me, and that's what I stand by.

Helmet to chin hits are always among the worst though.

I don't know about the punters height/whoever hit him, but if you're a shorter dude than who you are blocking, and you see an "easy target" (you're going to hit high)...it's hard not to put a helmet on a chin.

Maybe the punter shouldn't wear a *******ty little facemask? Instead, he should wear a big boy facemask and thus avoiding broken jaws when he gets jacked up on punt returns. NVM, lettuce beef unreality and just say it was a cheapshot. It's easier.
