I want to start an ihop, ideas on how I could do it? (Dead srs)

I live in a rapidly growing city with no ihop for within about 2-2 1/2 hours away or something like that. I feel like this could be a business opertunity, but I don't know where to start. I was thinking maybe get donations somehow or some other way of making money like a website or something.

this, you have to buy the rights of the company, buy into the chain. costs a lot. Now, you could open up your own version of ihop, but those are not always successful because youre a new company, and you don't have the notoriety that comes with a chain name.



edit: just fully read the OP, if you don't already have the money, it basically isn't happening. I highly doubt youll be able to raise enough money to do this. sorry, bud.

you'll need to got to school for commerce/business. I doubt you have experience running a restaurant, and ihop won't want to work with you unless they believe that you'll be successful.

with Ihop it would be a franchise, you'll pay them for the rights etc and build the restaurant the way THEY want. Chances are it will be about 1million to get started.

There's no such thing as an ihop in the UK, you should come and open one here OP.

Last time I was in the U.S. I was well nauseous from jet lag and had no appetite, ihop's steak, eggs and hash browns was the first full meal I was able to eat, loved it.
