This presentation is from Dr. George Cotsarelis on PGD2:

PGD2 made headline news a few years ago, but in the video above, if you fast forward to 23:15 you'll see him talking about PGD2 inhibitors being a new treatment against hair loss. The forum with the sale of Setipiprant is private, I'll share info and details via PM, but at $340 for 25 grams, its peanuts.

Here are my 19 month progress pics on fin, I've shown my 16 month pics from the crown but not the temples. About to make a decision on filling in the temples with a transplant in the next 6-12 months, I'm 99% sure they aren't going anywhere between now and then.
I couldn't be more happier with my crown, still a tad thin from some angles but I can live with it given what I had before. Left is August 2013, right is today.
Unfortunately my temples haven't moved at all, which may or may not be a good thing depending on how you look at it. Left side is August 2013, right is today. Both with hair pushed back.
I'm not sure what NW I'm at on the scale, but I'd like to get to a NW1 and don't mind spending the money to get it done. It actually looks worse than this in person. By the time I would get the transplant done I'd have been on fin for 2+ years, and I know most surgeons doing the procedure would recommend being on fin for at least a year before having it done so I'd at least have that out of the way.
Can anyone give an estimation, graft wise, what this is going to take? I know that's a question for the surgeons but I'm just wondering if anyone that has went and got consults could give me their opinion on what I'm looking at here.Type 1 ginger that took MT2 for 5+ years and now getting mistaken for African descent crew:

Maturing Hairline or MPB?
Hey guys, going to post a lot right here:
Turned 19 in November and I recently started noticing a receding hairline. Didn't believe it for a month but then in the shower I looked at my hands and I kept seeing an abnormally large amount of hair loss. I've never really noticed any hair loss like this, this shouldn't be normal. I researched a bit and found out that there is such a thing called a "maturing hairline". Where your hairline recedes and gets thinner, but does not necessarily mean that you will lose your hair...just yet. So for the past month I've been worried if this is actual MPB or a maturing hairline as I'm getting older into adulthood now. I'm here to get your suggestions to see what it looks like. Here are a few pics:
(I've always had a big forehead and high hairline with straight hair, AND a widows peak. -- as you can see here when I was like 7 years old, if that helps out at all)
normal
lifted hair
I feel like it looks a lot worse in person, I have a DSLR camera if needed be to really get the detail of my potentially depressing hair loss journey

I seen improvement around the 3rd or 4th month, but every other month was constant sheds that made it look thin one month then kinda thick again the next.
Around months 10-12 I think I started showing steady thickness on top. I still shed a decent amount from time to time, but I try not focus on that much. Long term it's working fine and that's all I'm worried about.Type 1 ginger that took MT2 for 5+ years and now getting mistaken for African descent crew:
