well easy (and ****gy) way to level up quickly is spamming the skills you're concentrating on, for example if you are concentrating on illusion you can keep using the magic muffle on yourself, not only will you level up illusion you'll also level up your own character. If you wanna level up armour just find easy enemies (wolves/bandits) to constantly hit you etc, there are many different ways. I personally don't spam anything and I level up naturally, you can ruin a great game that way.
Best weapons is very subjective, my fav weapon is the katana sword and the Daedric Dagger, and most people will say Daedric weapons are the best.
make sure you join guilds which you think will suit your character, great story lines and lots of fun.
Buy houses for yourself so you can store your items in there
if you have followers and you are running out of inventory space, just make them carry your items

One handed and archery are probably the best offensive skills. As far as magic goes conjuration is the best, destruction magic doesn't scale well as you level up, allthough there is a way to make it work with the stagger perk.
If you want to do archery combining it with sneaking is really great. Stealth builds are pretty good.
Also Imo light armor is much better than heavy armor. The blocking tree is actually pretty good if you want to use a sword and a shield, some of the skills there are quite useful and the sword and shield playstyle is quite fun.
If you want you can break the game by maxing out alchemy, enchanting and smithing. This will allow you to make super powerful weapons and have infinite magica. I'd be vary of doing this if I were you, it takes the fun out of the game a bit. Maybe only focus on smithing for example but don't go full abuse mode and max out all 3.
I can recommend the dragonborn expansion, that one is great.
if you want tricks for levelling up just search ''conjuration levelling skyrim'' for example on youtube, lots of easy ways to grind up levels if you want to. quick tips off the top of my head though:
for sneaking and one handed, do the dark brotherhood quest and get the horse from them, then sneak attack stab it over and over to rank up those 2 skills, works for archery and destruction too I think. It works because that horse has a lot of health and regens fast. For blocking, find some giants. Turn the setting to easy so they don't instakill you. For conjuration levelling, spam soul trap on your horse. For smithing, craft lots of iron daggers. for enchanting, enchant said daggers. For alchemy well I'd look up a tutorial for that. To level up illusion spam the muffle spell.
Other than that, just explore a lot and have fun, that's what the game is about really. Main quest is so, so but exploring and doing side quests is where the realy fun is in my opinion.Last edited by Beerculez; 12-14-2013 at 10:03 AM.

Want the best possible time?
Just play the game. It seems like you want a 'shortcut' to the 'fun'. The fun will come not from tricks, but from normal play.
And if you want the best hint there is, do the thieves guild. It should provide you with all the tricks and magic you're lookin' for.Engineering Crew

very easy way to level up/get smithing up:
go to the blacksmiths and buy all of their leather. go outside and use their stuff to make leather armor that costs the cheapest. just travel around and keep doing this. i think it is one of the faster ways to level up very fast for the first 20 levels or so.semper fidelis 04-08 0311

if you want an easy ride through the whole game just sit at the smithing vendor and get 100 smithing fast forwarding days every time he runs out of stock. When you get 100 go the mages guild and buy deadric hearts (do the same thing wait 48 hours) and the shop should restock.
i think with this i used to rob my money back off him too after i sold the armour i made.
I got to level 100 doing in the first day i had it lol.
not sure if it still works as i done this like a year ago but give it a shot, i don't see why it wouldn't.

I agree thats probably why i didn't even complete the story i was stupidly high level in the first week of release.
Only do these things OP if you don't mind a cake walk through the game. You can do the same as i mentioned with stuff like block (just stand blocking against a weak enemy) armour (just let them hit you) etc.
if you search youtube theres loads of fast ways to level. but i would advise against it on your first run through no matter how tempting it is haha.

Do not max out your skills to get deadric armor until you are way over 100hours, even then it will ruin the game since you can one hit kill everything.
Just play the game enjoy it, its never too late for dat feel of playing a new gameYo yo yo I beez keepin it real since 02 fo real nowuimsayin
