What do you guys think of this polo? its got little anchors on it. tried it on at target and its pretty nice quality/fit. it was like 2 for 25$ or something.
also target has some nice ass fitting shorts. 17$ a piece

Just got back last night. Feels so nice to be home. I lost some weight since they eat like birds there. Gonna have to gain it back so my clothes fit again.

Too small. Shoulder seams are up near your traps and the fabric is stretching everywhere on the shirt. Problem is if you size up the length will be too long but thats a problem most people have when it comes to polos.

ok srsly now, in my poverty corner. I needed some cheap dress shoes today for an interview tomorrow morning.
Picked this up at target for $29.99 (had some that looked just like taupe Bass Bucks for $6 in size 12... yes I said $6, too bad they weren't my size)
What do you guys think? I don't think they're anything special but they're not bad for $29
bet they won't last long though.
I'm seriously thinking about just returning them after the interview and getting a nicer pair later.

I think I'll just return them (found the receipt in the trashcan, threw it away with my Moe's on accident), because I really don't have much need for them other than this, so if I get this better job I'll just use my first paycheck as an excuse to treat myself to better shoes so I'll have them for later occasions.



I figure this is a good time to ask, what are you guys' opinions on the black vs brown dress shoes debate? I feel like the black looks dressier but the brown is more versatile(could be worn with some nice jeans and a button-up at a casual-dressy hybrid situation). Only problem is when a funeral comes around you need black dress shoes, so what are you supposed to do just buy both?

Your first purchase should be a pair of black captoes. This will cover you for interviews, weddings, funerals, formal dinners, formal events, etc.

I can personally recommend the Allen Edmonds Park Avenues. Probably most peoples' first pair of legit dress shoes (high-quality leather, solid construction, timeless style, and apparently its lifespan is in the decades if properly taken care of)

You can get factory seconds for like $250 during the sales. For a shoe that will last until we reach our mid-life crisis, I thought it was a great investment.



But if you're dead-set on buying a cheaper pair of dress shoes, just try to stay away from square toe shoes. srsly lol its a big fashion faux-pas. I made the mistake too and didn't realize it until SF people awared me




edit: since your interview is tomorrow, you could always tape up the bottom of your target shoe, use it for your interview, then once that's over and done with peel off the tape and return it. lmfao someone i knew did this once and i almost died laughing

The suit is about £500 and the shoes are £120, i don't care if other people see the under the lapel i just love the detail. need a good smart outfit for presentations, interviews etc
