New Rep Rules?

So a company rep cannot:

Post a review thread on their products or any other product

and

Cannot log their product or any other product

(d) Company Representatives shall not leave product reviews for their company's products or those carried by a competitor in the supplement reviews section or the product review section of the Bodybuilding.com store. Company Representatives may also not run product logs.


UPDATE:

Added the adjustment to allow reps to comment when asked for recommendations by beginning a meaningful product consultation. Spam replies will be infracted. We'll maintain the rule changes as they stand now and see how things work out.

If you want to be a company rep, you have to forfeit your opinions on any and all products, good or bad.

Too many times do you see reps from other companies praising products from another company because they are "bros" or get a free hook up.

Eh...I understand the store raiting part, but on the forums reviews can be very helpful, I was actually in the process of writing a product review on another said product..

Nearly every thread was a barrage of buy "x" product by numerous companies. These rules only relate to limiting specific posts promoting the product.

Lmfao. Essentially don't post at all because everything is an infraction. My company doesn't even make protein and if I wanted to leave a review of how awesome a protein is I can't

You already werent allowed to post a review.

That isnt a new rule. They changed that a few months back.

The intention is for a user to hear from other users, what their preferred products are without feeling like they are being pressured by someone with a quota to meet. Many times these threads are like stepping onto a used car lot and being assailed by numerous "buy my product" posts.
