What's Your Favourite Keto Breakfast and Salad?

My favourite meal of the day is breakfast, I would love to see some recipes to try some different things out for breakfast. Also, what are some of your favourite salads to make? I'm trying to incorporate more salads to add some more green to my diet.

For breakfast I like having a 3 egg omelette, filled with cream cheese, avocado and salmon.

Currently struggling with salad ideas, but usually will make something along the lines of a taco salad. Ground beef with melted white cheddar and lettuce. I like using cream cheese + avocado + lemon as a dressing!!

Had a salad for dinner yesterday, it was canned mackerel (in water), cut up radishes, green olives and 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.

My usual breakfast is 100g egg whites, 100g (2 cans) tuna in water, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, a lot of paprika, either in an omelet or scrambled.

Egg whites and fish canned in water can be argued, personally I love not dealing with egg shells early in the morning when I can barely tell what planet I am on and anyways prefer to add good quality olive oil to my food rather than have to take what they use in cans. But that's a personal preference.

Lots of bacon and eggs with avocado.

Caesar salad with little to no croutons, lots of bacon, lots of cheese, poached egg on top, prawns or chicken and a heap of nice fatty caesar dressing

    8-10oz of egg whites
I might throw in a whole egg
I usually cook my eggs in the left over fat of my breakfast meat to give it more flavor.
Some type of meat: beef or pork chorizo, thick cut bacon,or sausage link..
Some type of cheese:cheedar, pepper jack, or a blend.
I usually rotate my meats and cheeses to make a different style omelet each day. Top it off with sour cream or salsa or reduce sugar ketchup.

On the side I have either pancakes or waffles..keto style. Coconut flour, flax meal, whole eggs, egg whites, vanilla, splenda and cinnamon. Top it off with with some walden fams maple syrup, canned heavy
    whipped cream or butter.

Pretty epic breakfast at 2pm lol. I.F style..

For breakfast I've been doing an egg quiche that I found on caveman keto. I make one pan of it on Sunday and it lasts 6 days. 12 eggs, 1 cup almond milk, maybe 3/4 cup egg whites but I'm thinking of taking this out, 12 pieces of turkey bacon cut in small pieces, 300g broccoli/cauliflower mix, 150g spinach, garlic and onion powder, salt, pepper, 56g cheddar cheese, and topped with Parmesan cheese. Bake it at 350 for about 40 minutes and cut into 12 slices (6 servings). I think 1 serving is about 300 calories.

I'm not a fan of salads (more to the point I don't like salad dressing), but I made a kind of salad last week. Leaf spinach, boneless chicken leg quarters cooked with Italian seasoning, added a few strips of turkey bacon cut up, cheddar cheese, and about a half Tbsp butter to up the fats. Put a little salsa on it and I was pretty pleased.

Got this from FB and it's very good....it's also nice to have leftovers to heat and eat:

    Cheesy Chorizo Breakfast Bake

    INGREDIENTS
    9 oz. Pork Chorizo
4 oz. Onion - Thinly sliced
    2 Tbs. Butter
    2 Tbs. Garlic - Minced
6 Eggs (i used 3 eggs and some egg beaters)
2/3 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese - Shredded
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese - Grated
4 oz. Cream Cheese ( i used light cream cheese)
4 oz. Cremini Mushrooms - Sliced
Salt and Pepper - To taste

***optional toppings - sour cream and green onions***

    DIRECTIONS
In a large saute pan over low-medium heat, saute sliced onions in butter and garlic. Saute until onions are nice and caramelized - About 20 minutes

At the same time, in a second saute pan, saute the chorizo and mushrooms over medium heat until the chorizo is cooked all the way through and the mushrooms are tender.

Remove excess grease from chorizo, reduce heat to low and mix in cream cheese until well combined. Add chorizo mixture to the caramelized onion and mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Crack eggs into a large mixing bowl and fork whisk. Mix in sharp cheddar and Parmesan cheese.

    Preheat oven to 350°

In an 8 x 8 glass baking dish, pour chorizo mixture into the bottom of it. Pour the egg/cheese mixture on top. Mix just slightly until some of the chorizo shows through the egg layer.

Bake uncovered, on the middle rack for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

    Makes 8 Servings:
    1 Serving:
Calories: 292 (mine was probably more around 250ish)
    Carbs: 5 net g
    Fat: 23 g
    Protein: 17 g

I love my keto pancakes with "cheesecake whip" for breakfast.

    4 tbsp flax seed
1 scoop protein. (I use dymatize chocolate mint)
    1 egg
    Cinnamon to your liking
    Vanilla to your liking
Baking powder, I never measure this. I just make sure it looks like enough. You can always add more!

    -Mix all dry ingredients
    -Add wet ingredients
    -Mix thoroughly
-Cook as you would regular pancakes

    Cheesecake whip

    4 tablespoons heavy cream
1 scoop protein, or peanut butter (tastes fantastic either way!)

-Mix with an electric mixer until creamy
-Refrigerate overnight for cheesecake consistency, can be frozen to make ice cream!

As for a salad, mine is kind of untraditional.

.25 pound ground beef (I use Flander's premade beef patties from walmart)
    2/3 cup cheese
    1 cup spinach
    3 tablespoons butter

    -precook beef
-add other ingredients to a pot
    -cook until cheese is melted
-ENJOY! I call it a hot cheese salad, kind of strange, but that's what happens when you ask your ten year old sister for meal ideas.
Competing this August with the NPC.

Current Lifts on this cut.. BW approx 125

Recently opened up a bottle of basalmic vinaigrette that has been beyond delicious. It was given to me by a friend I've been eating some enormous salads. Spinach/mixed greens, feta, tomatoes, bacon bits. Yumm
