I don't think you need to bulk and cut a ton. Just increase calories a little bit at a time and you won't gain a lot of fat with the way you're training. If you feel like you're gaining too quickly, just stop eating more for a while and allow your body to lean out.
Aggressive cutting and bulking doesn't really make a lot of sense for a natural lifter. (Assuming you're natty... maybe you're not with all these gainz!) You might get marginally better strength gains during the bulk periods, but the cutting will drain you and affect your lifts negatively most likely.
If you're gradually gaining weight over a LONG period of time, you'll always be eating around maintenance or slightly over so you shouldn't feel tired from the diet aspect alone in that scenario.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

These feels.....
You could also do like I did and recomp for a long time! I have never done a proper bulk (not like Penny has) but I've put on decent size. I tend to lift as heavy as possible, eat for it, then when I can't fit in my clothes anymore I dial it back. With that said, I'm also the heaviest I've ever been right now, but look pretty lean (per other people's opinion, not my own!).
Depends on your mental capacity really, I don't have the fortitude to do a bulk the right way and I'm okay with that.___________________________________________________________

Agree. It is all individual. Do what helps you achieve your goals. It was mentioned above that it doesn't make sense to do aggressive cutting and bulking but you dont have to be agressive. It took me a year to gain 20 lbs and when I cut before that I was losing 0.2 to 0.5 lbs per week which is definitely not aggressive.
Experiment and see what gives you the results you want.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

Kraut you're brilliant. Thank you for always bringing your voice of reason in here!
Both of you are also very right. Ok so my issue is I've never been fat but I've also never been that lean either. I might want to lean out first before I go on a lengthy lean bulk. That way I'll freak out less later and for once if I saw my obliques I'd be elated.
Oldie shmoldie I know right! If I'm ever in your neck of the woods for whatever reason you'll be the first I hit up!Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=158655833

Nothing fun. I went back home and then had to travel to multiple places for interviews. I'm still not done! Flying out again tomorrow. So with this one day I have back, you can bet my first priority was to get in the gym!

208 sounds pretty nice to me. Your squats are looking better and better every time; pretty inspirational. Good luck on your interviews. I'd say if they're flying you out, that's already a good sign.
