ANIMAL Sponsors Raw Unity Meet 7

Aside from the prize money, ANIMAL is throwin down a sponsorship or two for the competitors. Standin with RUM, this is a good way for ANIMAL to get behind the sport and the community in a big way.

Just small steps... CAPO in Tasmania, Raw Unity Meet 7 and of course the 2014 CAGE. More eyeballs on the sport is always a good thing, eh?

Good luck brotha. Ya never know, ya may end up with an ANIMAL sponsorship dependin on how the meet organizer sets up the prizes. Ur in the 148s rite? That means Talmant is there with ya and wut, Joe Morrow? Assume you fellas are lookin at high 1300s/low 1400s?

Should be an epic meet. If it were closer than Florida I'd think about it. Plan on having one more solid year of training and competing in Rum 8.

Agreed 100%--the more people tune in to big meets and events, the better it is for the sport. And yes, I think that will be the target. I did 1377 last Saturday at the meet Eric and Ernie competed in; I know Joe has done low-1300s unwrapped recently (and he has a meet in a few weeks), and Eric's training is going well. It would not surprise me if one or both of those guys totals well over 1400.

When is the meet? Sam may be out. He just had a fully ruptured bicep tendon 2 weeks ago... won't be able to do anything with it for four months.

Yeah, Byrd is out and hes gettin surgery. Dunno if he'll be able to lift in The Cage either.

As far as the Animal Athletes go, the team is much deeper than CAPO. Heres wut I got so far...

I have heard JTS will stream the event... ANIMAL will produce a documentary tho, prolly aired later on their youtube page. As for Kyle, well, to have a shot, hes first gotta win his class I think. Dunno how its all goin down with the meet coordinator tho.

I think Sam wuz gonna try for a 900 squat... I know he wanted to do that at CAPO.

Not sure how itll work out, but I believe another prize ANIMAL is throwin in is that one winner will be given a a special invite and expenses paid to lift in The CAGE in 2014. Thats a big honor, esp. considerin who will be lifting there...
