It doesn't directly correlate to specific areas of study. I was always excellent in literature, science, and history; yet terrible in math. You can be a "brilliant" person but if you just don't have an interest in something, you won't be good at it. That was me and math. Now I am a Financial Advisor. Go figure LOL.
The measure of true intelligence is how you apply a problem solving mindset to subsequent events or problems. For example, can you somehow relate working through a math problem to fixing a car? On a social level, can you compare one social conflict to another and apply theory from the former, to fix the latter.
I've been told I am the most dangerous type of an intelligent. From a young age I lacked socialization. I was kept inside, only allowed to play in the yard. I played team sports and what not. My mother forced me to study. Not a bad thing. Eventually landed me in a great private high school and as a result, 50% academic ride to a college. Thats where the real learning began. My parents came from nothing and did very well for themselves so they expected me to do the same. Naturally, I decided to become a bouncer. Then from bouncer i became a bodyguard. I also collected for a bookie on the side. So my social "intelligence" is pretty sharp as well. I can tell when someone is lying, when they're holding back, if they're about to do something...I can play people against each other to get what I want.
Yeah....so I have both."There are no victims, only volunteers. You volunteer by looking uncertain and afraid. You volunteer by being, as grass-eaters invariably are, unprepared to confront the hazards of life." - Col. Jeff Cooper

I was told it from a very young age when they thought I had a learning disability. Just turned out I had no interest in what the teacher was saying.
My intelligence comes from my father's side. My one uncle was CFO for BoA. He has retired though. Other uncle designed and sells software for in-flight engineering for Gulf Stream airlines. He was the Sultan of Brunei's personal flight engineer for over a decade. My father and I have one of the most successful Financial Advisory practices in our firm in the Northeast."There are no victims, only volunteers. You volunteer by looking uncertain and afraid. lol I hope I'm not a psychopath.
And all this IQ stuff, I am NOT a smart guy. Like with math, school, any sort of book smart, you need to explain it to me like I am a 5 year old, but socially I think I am pretty smart. I'd break the 80 on the IQ score
I learned how to snatch last night for the first time. Was pretty cool to learn, but still trying to figure out how to incorporate CF into the 5,3,1 lifting style.b0yer- Monster By May Log- http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159121171&p=1183014941#post1183014941

D'awww.
I manage my academics quite well, but my deep desire to do nothing can (and has) really hurt me.
While not classically trained, I'm musically inclined and hold enough talent to play music by ear (piano mostly, dabble with guitar). Sometimes I wish my parents pushed me in that direction but meh.
But more than anything, I think my strong point is my ability to be highly empathetic. I have used it to my advantage mostly in social settings, but it extends to things like interviews (which always go great for me) and big presentations, where being genuine and relatable come in very handy."The Way Out Is Through"

I realize they have a tough job but some of the calls in that game were so horrendous. This year has been really bad with the calls and with more and more parity in the league they play a bigger role when they blow calls than they used to.
That loss is on the Browns, if you can't recover an onside kick that would basically end the game, you deserve to lose, refs or no refs.(っ◕‿◕)っ

Not as much as in college, but the games are already too fukking long.
I was watching the Big 10 championship and there was literally 3 minutes of commercials for every 2 minutes of football. More replay, means more commercials.....fukk that, let them play, let the refs blow calls. I'd much rather deal with bad calls than review every freaking thing and watch Zales tell me how my GF need a necklace or Lexus hint that a $70,000 car is a normal Christmas gift.(っ◕‿◕)っ

Well, I meant in possibly being able to review blown calls as part of challenges and stuff.
