The problem with chasing tail is it causes you to compromise other parts of your life.

Night at the gym gets put off and becomes "Well I should meet this girl for drinks" which turns into a terrible hangover the next day, which turns into an unproductive day at work the next day, which turns into a nap after work, causing you to miss the gym, etc.

yes. I know a bunch of downright retarded people that brag about having their masters, yet are jobless. These people are functionally stupid but somewhat decent at school (going to class, writing papers, giving presentations for classes).

This should be every masters program: "Want to be rich in life? own or start a business. /end"

I have an ex-buddy (he's so incredibly liberal and man-hating I actually can't stand to be around him anymore) who's a marriage and family therapist...and for the longest time he worked for a non-profit (meaning bunk pay). So the ONLY thing he could hold over my friend's and my head was that he had a masters and we didn't. My friend got an MBA, and I stopped talking to him. Lulz.

I NEVER meet girls in the gym. If I ever met a girl FROM the gym it was just that. It was running into them out and it becomes "Oh hey you go to my gym, right?". I've actually never approached a girl in the gym though. Such a tough approach its not even funny.

I work out at 6am. There is exactly 3 women in my gym at that time.

I've met a few outside of it as well. but this town is only so big. Have met a few in the gym, with varying results. A lot of us at my gym are competitors, so everybody somewhat knows everybody or at least has seen them. I've only outright approached a few girls at the gym, and that's when they were looking or working out next to me.

One girl always stared somewhat, and everytime she walked by me, she would look at me out of the corner of her eye almost like a challenge; daring me to do something. Took me some working up to talk to her, actually. I did get her number, recently and invited her out for sushi. Another, I met through one of the figure competitors from the last show. She introduced us. Went out with her, lost contact and we're supposed to be going out next week. I'm a hat/hood guy at the gym though, so it may come off as "**** you" written across my forehead.

I do notice some regular beekcakes at the gym but for the most part I am super shy so I don't make a lot of eye contact or walk around being friendly and saying hi and smiling. I just like to get in and get it done without being stopped every day. I don't even like a gym partner cause even my best friends who work out when you get us together it just ends up being a jaw session.

Was recently approached by two groups of gym regulars I guess on different occasions and they all knew who I was and that they saw me every day and called me out on the no smile. I guess I am just known as the mean looking manly chick in there.

The gym is for working out. Thats about it. Girls look SUPER unapproachable in the gym no matter how you look. Furthermore, the hotter the girl is the more unapproachable she looks. I've surprised a lot of girls by helping them unload machines and what not. And before I get the whole white knight speech...its usually some a-hole that leaves 20 plates on leg press of 405 on the squat bar. From there its gone to me seeing them out, and so on.

As I guy, I'm about as unapproachable at the gym as any guy could be:

I honestly believe that me being like that has always been part of why I've been good with women in the past. You have to create a sort of mystique about you. The gym does that in its own way.

its a jobs program. All these for profit schools and universities create jobs(teacher, campus police, housing, ect) while keeping millions b of 18-25 yr olds from entering the job force. Get rid of college and unemployment rate will skyrocket.

It really depends on what you want to do. Certain careers there is no way you're getting a job without a college education. On the other hand, lots of vocations are producing better now than "degree" jobs.

I don't have a degree. I have a college diploma. I also have a 160 IQ so could have probably got one but was taken out of school and sent to work at 16. I went to college in the evenings. I wonder how much I could have achieved if things had been different.

Amen. Anything over medium is a waste of meat. How I order steak depends on the cut.

Ribeye I order medium. Too much fat to order any more rare.
Filet I order med-rare
NY Strip either med or med rare depending on my mood

I don't typically order anything "rare" because a lot of people's rare is different from the norm.
