doubt that'll happen she doesn't go to the bars
she isn't super attractive looks wise (cute at the most), i thought she had a good personality and she didn't act like a sloot so that's why i was interested
i suppose that's true. first time she was acting flaky i should have nexted her. no more second or third chances just because they have redeeming qualities

There's a quote from the book "Love in the Time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that goes:
"But when a woman decides to sleep with a man, there is no wall she will not scale, no fortress she will not destroy, no moral consideration she will not ignore at its very root: there is no God worth worrying about."
Ya'll talking reminded me of that."The Way Out Is Through"

I always called it the yes/no machine. Bishes always be working out on that thing. I'm going to open up a gym for only women and it will only have the yes/no machine & the ass blaster machine. Dat dere spot reduction theory. If I use the yes/no machine, it'll get rid of my cottage cheese thighs.

Doesn't seem relevant to them - that girl doesn't really want to sleep with him from my interpretation. She just wants the attention.
But that saying is true 99% of the time IMO. Look at the amount of women in love with men who have done absolutely crazy sh*t and they seem to let it go by the wayside - whereas if a stranger did those things they'd be appalled. A girl in love is a girl in love, and it overrides her normal response to a lot of things. I'm not saying she will ignore it if she comes home and the kids have been axe murdered, but girls wear rose-tinted glasses for men they love and will rationalize/justify a lot of things to maintain that view.Übermensch

The sex dichotomy between men and women is very interesting.
The old lock/key analogy applies.
"What do you call a key that opens many locks? A master key. What do you call a lock that's opened by many keys? A sh*tty lock"
I always came away with the philosophy of once I bang a girl, I won. She could never talk to me again. Doesn't matter though. That notch is in my belt. I got the goodies.
I take from the quote: Once a girl sleeps with a guys, she'll go to no-end to preserve any sort of relationship to justify it."There are no victims, only volunteers. You volunteer by looking uncertain and afraid. You volunteer by being, as grass-eaters invariably are, unprepared to confront the hazards of life." - Col. Jeff Cooper

I usually neg on sight for the lock/key analogy. But I never neg anyone ITT.
I saw a guy in Iceland earlier who looked so much like my bestest online friend (he's a Miscer, lives in the US but would husband/10). He caught me checking him out three times. Third time I smiled but sadly to no avail. Ah well. Hot as fuark though. Massive guy, full bearmode, milk chocolate skin.**** Atheist Alliance ****

If you do it.. make sure you are doing it for yourself, not to just meet random chicks to fill a "void" in your life.
I stand by the notion that improving yourself via other means in life, will attract other women to you no matter what. think of one of those bug zapper lamps. That motherfukker is bright as fuk.. glowing.. electric.. confident, just sitting outside enjoying the night. All the bugs come to it and fuk it, not vice versa.

I generally cringe at the lock/key analogy on here too but I admit it's exactly where my mind goes when push comes to shove. I've literally said "I don't have to listen to you, I've already phucked you" in a blowout argument with an old hookup

Exactly as OSB put it.
If a girl wants you, you'll know it.
Not to say a girl cant be ambivalent to her feelings towards a guy, but for the majority of times, a chick knows if she wants you or not. Ambivalence, imo, is a long-winded way of saying 'NO' to someone."The Way Out Is Through"

I generally agree. There are exceptions though.
I pursued a girl when I was younger for like 2 years. Went from friend zone, to not talking, to her telling me she would have sex with me every day if she could, to her telling me she hated me and never speak to her again LOL.
So yeah, sometimes women don't know what they want.
Granted, i would never do that again. No chick is worth pursuing for 2 years"There are no victims, only volunteers. You volunteer by looking uncertain and afraid. You volunteer by being, as grass-eaters invariably are, unprepared to confront the hazards of life." - Col. Jeff Cooper

The lock/key thing exists as a social concept for sure, that's undeniable. Whether it's good or not.
But I think it sticks with some people because it hits a much more primitive chord at a biological level.
Men are more geared toward spreading their seed everywhere, while women must carry the child and seek a male with the best genes and one who can protect them. While we have become a monogamous society - and I myself prefer one awesome girl over new sloots all the time - I think there is a very deeply ingrained subconscious message of "mission accomplished" once you have sex with a woman. So even if you liked her and things went south, you at least got a primitive satisfaction out of it. So it's easier to let go. But woman have the opposite biological impulse - I slept with him so he is potentially a lifetime provider - that's their "mission." Even though on a logical level they just did it for fun and didn't think they'd care. Which is why I think it's easier for a man to be promiscuous and still mentally stable, while it's rare for a promiscuous woman to be stable (rare, not impossible) because she struggles more with it emotionally.
Basically, men have an advantage in that if everything falls apart, we at least have a sort of "victory" so to speak that can make it very easy to walk away if the girl didn't also offer a good personality. Ideally we all have more "missions" than our biological ones, and can supersede those desires in order to gain a long-term benefit out of creating a family if we so choose. But it seems many cannot overcome the biological urges, or simply don't want to.
That's my broscience psychology of itÜbermensch
