    rogue resistance band

So lobg story short, my gym doesnt have a cable machine so I saw a video online where a guy used a rogue resistance band and did a make shift cable machine. I need it for triceps mainly so would it work? If so what weight do I go for they range from 20 to 100 lbs

It'll work. The trick to using resistance bands and cables is figuring out where to anchor it so that you get a decent amount of stretch in the band. The amount of stretch you have at the outset is one factor which determines the range of resistance throughout the range of motion. If you are able to adjust the anchor point, you don't need that many bands.

I don't think anyone here can say which one(s) you should get: 1) We don't know how strong you are. 2) As noted above, the resistance is partially determined by the anchor location.

Where's the video? In it you can probably pay attention to the setup. Anchor and color of the band. Rogue's are colored and you can tell what weight someone is using.

I'd guess you can make do with #1 red and #3. You can use them simultaneously or separately. Grab the band at different points, walk further from anchor, etc.

    Do you have dumbbells?

There are only about a million triceps exercises you can do without buying a big rubber band.

Its tricky to know what bands to get, they are pretty pricey for rubber bands, I wouldn't have thought they cost what they do.

elitefts and rogue's bands are almost identical. elitefts is running a different special every other day it seems...I'm sure they'll have bands shortly. They have had their onyx bands on sale, but those are even pricier than the normal ones.
