Post need a little help with something

Hey guys I need a little help. Been lifting for 3 years always doing splits and 3 on one off kind routines never really did a strength routine. I'm 6'1" 183 lbs (used to be 193) but I keep losing weight and my lifts are very low... I'm used to high intensity.

My question is, I'm thinking that I should start incorporating a strength routine in every couple months. I just can't seem to bring myself to drop from my current average on like 21-30 sets a day )hitting everything twice a week) to like 15 sets a day with strong lifts or something.

Anyone know a good strength routine with hypertrophy kind of worked in? Like a strong lifts with accessory work so I can have my aim towards strength but still have hypertrophy worked in?

    Thanks

Doing 5x5s are a tried and true way to gain strength! They're most definitely worth a shot if you haven't tried them before.

Everywhere I read, it says its for novice lifters... My body is pretty immune to lifting for how long I've been lifting you still think it's worth doing?

Where did you read that? I don't believe what so ever a novice lifter should be doing 5x5s at all.

I'd suggest incorporating 5x5 on your compound movements.

Oh maybe that particular one. I've read up on lots of 5x5 programs never seen them as listed as novice. either way if you haven't done a strength program ever you are essentially a novice in that respect

I respect that... Just hard to get your bias out the way about lots of volume and workouts being necessary

I like Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size program. It definitely improved my strength dramatically and it's gotten good reviews form a lot of people.
